For Remembrance weekend, travel costs shouldn't stand in the way.   This year, free rail travel is being extended to eligible bereaved military families, recognising their central place in our national acts of remembrance and helping ensure that the cost of travel is never a barrier to attending moments of reflection, commemoration and tribute.    Alongside this new provision, serving personnel and veterans continue to benefit from free travel on national rail services to attend Remembrance services and events.   Apply by 16 October to secure your ticket.

A Boulton Paul Defiant of 264 Sqn, shoots down a Dornier Do-17 on 26th August 1940, a stunning new artwork by one of my favourite artists, Daryl Legg. The painting was commissioned as box-art for a new 1/32 scale Defiant model kit, which could also be an impressive thing too!
