Hey @MLBONFOX Wisconsin is not three outs away from its first world (series) championship. The braves won in ‘57. Ask Joe Torre — he’s at the game and was there in ‘57.
So awesome how many of the brewers are saying they’re standing up for Ueck. #StandUpToCancer @dick_nixon
Seven years ago tonight, the boys and I met @MadDogUnleashed at the World Series.
I’m pretty sure World Series record for runs in an inning is 10 by the 1929 Philadelphia A’s. Amazing part: it was the bottom of the 7th and they were down 8-0 when the inning started (and cubs were about to even the series at 2 games apiece). Save recorded by Lefty Grove.
With all this discussion of the Cheesecake Factory, I have a story. In November 2000 (in rhe midst of the recount madness), the Gores and Liebermans went out to eat at the Cheesecake Factory in Chevy Chase. I happened to be walking by when they pulled up and said hello.
Had a brief appearance on the news that night. The national news covered it (sans my cameo): nytimes.com/2000/11/28/us/co…
Essentially benching Cam last week was brilliant by Harbaugh. #giants

Alaskans don’t need any help voting for their preferred candidates, and the State of Alaska has already handled this by clearly distinguishing the candidates on this year’s ballot. The Department of Justice should never have filed this lawsuit.

Hitler actually spent little time at the Eagle’s Nest. The Berghof, down below, was his holiday home and demolished by the Bavarian government in 1952. There are a sparse ruins left in the woods (which I spat on). The area is gorgeous and has a fantastic museum about the era.
