We're so excited for Mai-Jeanna!
Congrats to @ThisIsHCHS' Mai-Jeanna Sakho on being among the 1,755 high school seniors from across the country who have been awarded a full scholarship for college through the QuestBridge National College Match program. Learn more about the program at bit.ly/3W7nNOF.
Congratulations to Mai-Jeanna for receiving the @QuestBridge National College Match scholarship! She will be attending @NotreDame next fall. She was one of 1,500 recipients from over 18,000 applicants, and our third QuestBridge scholar in three years. Go Irish! ☘️
Thanks for visiting with our scholars tonight, @UISedu and @LifeAtPurdue! We appreciate you!
We are so proud of our newest alumni, many of whom moved onto their college campuses last week. Nana is ready to take on her first semester at @UofIllinois!
We're growing! We're thrilled to announce that Melissa Burke has joined Green Halo as our College Success Coach. She will provide academic, financial, career, and personal support to our alumni and help our scholars navigate barriers that may impact their college persistence.
Melissa most recently served as a counselor at St. Francis de Sales High School, focusing on helping seniors through the college application process, and lives in the western suburbs with her husband and two high school sons who are just starting the college application process.
Thanks to @nurturingwisdom for hosting a pre-college workshop for our Class of '26. They covered things like study skills, building relationships with university staff, and mental health resources, and we know their tips and tricks will help our scholars succeed!
Since June, our Class of 2027 has been meeting weekly to learn about the college admissions process. We've covered finding a good college fit, exploring careers, and our expectations for the year. Our newest cohort is amazing, we can't wait to see where this year takes them!
We're so grateful to have been awarded a grant through the @DarienRotary Grant Program! This grant will cover the costs for our scholars from @HinsdaleSouthHS and @DownersSouth to attend the OnSite College and Leadership Forum, hosted by @ChicagoScholars!
We were grateful to participate in this pilot program during the last school year. We admire Concourse's commitment to equity and access, and we look forward to partnering with them again in 2022-23.

We recently partnered with @CareerSpringOrg! This partnership will provide free career information, networking opportunities, and job placement services for our scholars, and we're excited to see how this helps our scholars explore and launch their future careers.
Thanks to @LTWaterman for recognizing our @LTHS_D204 scholars at the Board of Education meeting last night!
WOW! We raised $7,235 during Giving DuPage Days!
Thanks to @GivingDuPage for spearheading this event, the DuPage County community for their generosity, and our friends, family, and neighbors who continue to rally behind our mission and vision.
