Yesterday, we investigated the properties of different rocks. We tested to see if they were hard or soft, magnetic or non-magnetic, permeable or non-permeable and whether they float or sink.

We’ve had a fantastic day in KS2 with our French immersion day. We’ve incorporated, geography, art, music and speaking skills into our day and learned so much. Well done everyone. 🇫🇷

School council are very pleased to announce the winners of the hedgehog care package competition are… 🥁 🥁 🥁 YEAR 4!! What an an amazing effort from them and the rest of the school! We collected so much for Chorley Hedgehog Rescue!

Today we’ve participated in ‘Dream a Dream Day’ where we dressed up as places we dream of going in the future. We then conducted lots of tasks linked to geography learning where our dream destinations are.

What an amazing effort by every class in school, collecting items for their hedgehog care packages. School Council will now decide on a winning class which will be announced after half-term. Thanks to everyone who donated.

Today the whole school were visited by the Chorley Hedgehog Rescue charity to tell us all about how to rescue and care for hedgehogs. Each class was given a challenge to create care packages for the hedgehogs. Which year group will win?
