She would have never won that final if Hunter didn’t do all the eating. So Hunter most definitely deserved that money as much as she did. Keep it a buck.
Let me do a full breakdown.
Sarah only sent Bananas into elimination. It wasn't like he got purged out.
Second, she & Bananas won the most dailies that season and Sarah was overwhelmingly the best girl that season.
Sarah would've had a better chance winning with any man rather than Bananas with a diff girl. She earned her half of the winnings and never did Bananas anywhere near as dirty as he did her.
Whereas Hunter & Ashley were a dogshit & dysfunctional team the entire season. They only won a single daily challenge during a purge challenge day where winning didn't matter.
At no point during the season were they on the same page. They got carried by their alliances, most of which were Ashley's connections to the Lavender Ladies.
So after all the dysfunction and Ashley outperforming Hunter in the Final, she took the money.
In all honesty, neither Ashley nor Hunter deserved to win Final Reckoning, but that's a conversation for another day. But they did win and given everything that happened, Ashley stealing the money was more valid.

Before the rumor mill runs wild, or things get taken out of context, hoping to provide some clarity- The Daniels’ camp understands that the No. 5 jersey is not retired at LSU, nor have they ever asked for it to be. The cease-and-desist is not about the number itself or about DJ Pickett. It is about respect—and the process by which that number was ultimately given out.
For those attempting to make this about Jayden and Joe Burrow, that narrative is simply not accurate. This is about respecting and honoring a young man who brought the program its third Heisman Trophy and represented LSU with distinction.
I’ve spoken with people on both sides about this situation, & I’ll add this. I love this young man, and I love my school. My hope is that this situation can be resolved in a respectful manner that honors everyone involved and, most importantly, recognizes what Jayden Daniels accomplished for LSU.
Now, Jayden wants to focus on the excitement around the team, how well camp is going & winning games for the Commanders.
