I'm happy to announce that I am launching nbavisuals.com/ It's still very early days, and there's a ton to improve, but regardless I like to think there's a lot of useful content there. So I hope you enjoy it, and if you really enjoy it, hope you consider subscribing :)
'he's crying cause that's his bestfriend'
Immensely glad for those with the insight and empathy to respond in these terms.

Can't believe what I just saw. Was really looking forward to a full JDub season man, i feel so bad. Wow prayers up🙏
Added a Shot Context breakdown to the shotmap tools. It reuses my playbyplay engines classification systems to breakdown shots into their associated possesion phase, and for modern seasons (2021+) does the same for qualifier based designations (fastbreaks, pitp, etc)
Think people, developers and fans alike, will really appreciate what we building out at @databallr
This functionality is powered by an engine that I've been building for @databallr for the past two months. Am so, so excited to showcase everything we have here in the near future.
I casually mentioned to my nieces two weeks ago that one of my online basketball friends had 6 then 7 then 8 bunnies. Now they are always curious and bemused by said friend having all of those bunnies and its one of my favorite bits with them

Can also view who's currently on the court during games now! hoopologyviz.com or the beta mobile app testflight.apple.com/join/fX…
Clips for last nights games are (mostly) not working, beyond the scope of what I can fix. Cross your fingers this is a temporary outtage not a permenant change.
If not, NBA please hire someone to remake the functionality in league pass, it is low hanging fruit and very doable.

Film Room is also on hold for now... but im gonna rant a little bit too.
Not only have they gated clip sites, but they have taken down access to clips on their OWN site. It's crazy to me how a business as big as the NBA still doesn't have an effective way for fans to study the game.
Blocking some sites would make sense if they had their own suitable product that they would be competing with, but to also regress your already subpar service?
Who is the team that actually works on the site/stats portal for them? Random ppl on twitter have already given you the blueprint for what fans want access too.
This just ridiculous

Been cooking on my site and I can announce:
CourtSignal is live: courtsignal.net
NBA player ratings in points per 100 possessions, for every player and every season since 1996-97.
Season PULSE rates a season. Current PULSE updates after every game date.
Inspired by @Justinpinnix 's suggestions, added a direct shotmap link for all the players in live game, and a shotmap for every lineup combination. Also, streamlined the on/off view in the player cards, and added a list of all lineup stints for both teams in the lineups tab.
