Seriously about to just delete this tweet because nobody seems to be able to tell I posted it before that second half happened. But that’s just not something I believe in. I wrote it I won’t run from it
Guys, can we stop with the “Christian Parker needs to be fired in this defense is as bad as/worse than last year’s” It’s not We have gotten a multitude of stops this season, including on short yardage situations like we just saw on that goal line stop This defense is not playing worse than last year. And I’m not saying that that’s a high bar to clear. But I still see people making this argument constantly.

Dak won’t be saved in Dallas He’s gonna to save Dallas, and apparently he’s gonna have to do it by the skin of his nut sack Nothing suggest Prescott is anything but the main thing keeping this team from being the 0-16 lions
There are far bigger problems than Dak, but at the same time Dak might need to go to another franchise to win a title à la Matt Staford. He may be too infected by Jerry’s culture and can’t be saved while in Dallas…

Excellent question Jane

I followed that up with why, historically, Jerry Jones has been opposed to a coaching change mid season and given the young staff whether that was an even an option for him. “I made a change and I don't want to mention it because I'm not proud of it. But I made a change with Wade Phillips there in the middle of the season, and I don't see that here.”

These losses hurt so bad, man. We only get 17 of these a year, and you’re not even promised a healthy team for all 17. And right now, we’re relatively healthy, which makes this hurt even worse. You spend the offseason convincing yourself things are changing. New players, changes to the coaching staff, even bringing in BT Jordan as an extra coach. You see Jerry taking swings. Dak shows up to camp in a Super Bowl shirt and names the offense Gotti. You look at the roster and think even our haters have to admit this team can compete for a championship. Then the season starts, and you’re right where you’ve been for 30 years. I go out of my way to watch this team every week. Spend hundreds of dollars on merch, tickets, and TV subscriptions. Find a way to watch during weddings, baby showers, whatever. And I’ve NEVER seen them play in an NFC Championship Game in my lifetime. I don’t need anyone telling me how much worse other fans have it. I know. But that doesn’t make pouring this much time, money, and emotion into the same disappointment every year hurt any less. When is enough enough?

OK, yeah then it’s not me Who’s got the bad take here brother. If your argument is that bland makes more and that’s why he’s better right now you’re just not paying close enough attention. Bland has been a liability in every single game He has inexplicably fallen down like half a dozen times this season and individually swung games This is all in 4K it’s not even like it’s my opinion
Replying to @GalacticRebirth
Bland is substantially better than revel. That’s why bland makes 92 million dollars and was an all pro and revel was a healthy scratch. Revel is so bad rn he isn’t even the backup boundary corner at 6’3 200 pounds with great press skills

Yep, this will be on the film. Very good catch
Note, on this play the Cowboys rushed 4. That means they had 7 in coverage. Cant tell Me defensive coaches created a defensive plan where 7 are in coverage and the closet defender to the TE is 6 - 7 yards away.

I’m going to bed guys. I cannot tweet without screwing it up rn and I’m just making myself sound stupid out here 😭 I hope y’all have a good night and don’t take those loss too hard and it’s STILL silver and blue till the end If someone can’t accept this very important fact about me you’ll find yourself upset pretty quickly. I’ve seen this team lose a lot of games in a lot of heartbreaking ways over the past 30+ years. I haven’t quit yet and I won’t. And no matter what, At the end of the day, it’s only entertainment

The narrative here annoys me RJ Jerry gets hammered re: THE EXACT PLAYER BEING REFERENCED HERE (Micah) and not signing him early enough But then Jerry signed both bland and diggs early to try and lock them down after they (seemingly) proved themselves and it blew up in his face and now it’s an example of why he shouldn’t do that Even if he signed Micah, we’re still in the exact same situation we’re in except probably worse because we don’t have guys like Big Q or Pickens or JPJ or Clark and the defense is even worse The bland and bland signings busted. It happens. But there’s so much hypocrisy on this issue. It feels like
The quest the front office went on to prove they won the trade was so damaging. Trying to live up to the “5-6 players instead” claim. Pride serving as the North Star.

This isn’t Christian Parker guys
The Cowboys have always had stupid players that make very stupid decisions. This one takes the cake for the stupidest I have ever seen. 3rd & 11 and you force an incompletion. Rashan Gary has other plans and INTENTIONALLY headbutts Minshew for no reason. The rest is history.

It’s also Schottenheimer, but I agree. The biggest issue is lack of accountability. Deron bland should not have been playing today over a healthy Revel, but he was because he makes more money It’s the only explanation I can think of, because he’s sure not playing over Revel due to talent
Replying to @GalacticRebirth
I think (as always) 2 things can be true at once. 1. Parker is failing in a massive way to live up to the expectations of him. 2. Firing him right now would not be the right move.

Huge part. Why the FUCK was Bland out there
Replying to @GalacticRebirth
Contract politics. Bland played and got toasted b/c of his contract meanwhile Revel was a healthy scratch…

Am I gonna eat crow on this one guys? I have a feeling on film it’ll be a bit of both. I’m not married to Parker at DC and I’m not saying he’s guaranteed to be the guy. It doesn’t change the sentiment of my tweet here though. You’ve gotta give people chances before you judge them. Same time, Players always gotta play guys. Putting everything on a coordinator or coach is too easy. There’s guys on the field who we pay to make plays and they’re not making them. Where they did in the first half and looked excellent and then didn’t in the second I don’t know what the answer is anymore and that’s about the only thing I do now

Rex Ryan is practically begging for the job on national television.
Jerry Jones was asked about making a change at head coach: “Yeah, we're not going to get into anything. That's not in my mind at this time. But the main thing that's in my mind is we tee it up for those kind of spots to win it. We really do want those situations call for it, bring it on. And we got it and didn't get it. And we made some really, I'm not going to say any one play, but we just did not play good in the second half and that put us in a spot, but we got the reprieve and we should nail it. Everybody in here feels that way.”

This is my 13th reason after watching the way we lost this game today
History! #Bucs QB Baker Mayfield today in a win vs. the Falcons: • 0/3 • 0 passing yards • 0 TDs • 0 INTs Tampa Bay is the first NFL team since 1974 to win a game without completing a pass.

This is going to be one of the most gut punching loss I have ever seen as a cowboy fan I’m just beyond words right now at what has transpired
