After Hartnett said to long hyperscaler debt because equity issuance means that the market is respecting credit market, you get Rick Reider today saying he has got into corpo debt for the first time in a while, citing Hyperscalers specifically. Which means that a beautiful work around hedge to the crowded CDS trade is to actually be the payer on a TRS, constructing a synthetic bond short. CDS can have onerous conditions but setting up a synthetic short can pay straight cash here. I mean you’ll be paying at first but if markets turn then you’ll be getting STRAIGHT CASH. So the demand is there from the credit side, Reider, Howard Marks de facto due to his recent bullish comments, the demand for credit is going to be there and so big boy HFs in trouble from AI cracking have an opportunity to provide these credit funds with a TRS opportunity, as the demand for hyperscaler debt is growing here after selling off so hard. I think this is a clever hedge here for the big boys as they try to minimize pain from legacy AI longs. Idk if I’m out of my element on this one but I love vibe tweeting

If you get a massive surprise medical bill from a US hospital:
ABSOLUTELY AVOID THESE
- Paying it immediately out of panic.
- Setting up a payment plan (this legally admits you owe the full amount).
- Calling the billing department to argue on the phone.
- Believing "insurance denied it" means you have to pay.
IF YOU WANT TO SLASH THAT BILL FROM NOW ON ↓

Today may not have been "the" low, but I do think we are in its vicinity
I think a low could be formed within the next few trading days. Hedge funds are likely done derisking, CTAs advanced, leaves retail and vol control and at some point they will be done too
From that point on, there will be one high beta group that rallies absurdly for the following months. I had put forward power shells in an earlier tweet. AI Biotech or cybersecurity also come to mind. Please share others that could fit the bill in comments

Seems like those 60,000 $VIX Feb $22 calls that bought recently are selling into this spike.. avg price 3.10
Pretty large buyer today for 60,000 $VIX Feb 2027 $22 calls at $17M total but likely just vol hedges into year end
Also buyers of 1500 $TQQQ March 2027 $77 calls for $1.1M and 2000 $QQQ Dec $756 calls bought
Makes sense to buy cheap Tech calls into year end with that call skew less in demand now while also can hedge vol risk with VIX calls if you were a large fund wanting convexity
