unironically one of the greatest replies i have ever received

The truth is that everybody has a line somewhere where Vote Blue No Matter Who stops being true for them. You're lying to yourself if you think don't have one. And "open bigotry against you" is an extremely obvious and reasonable place for trans people to draw that line.

The centrist line on trans issues has gone from “Maybe LGBT rights shouldn’t be a cornerstone” to “Trans women are men and should be denied healthcare” in like 3 years. And if you believe their views might continue to shift, you’re woke and you don’t want Democrats to win.
Replying to @CameronCorduroy
No, Cameron, we’re not gonna do that. You actually have to concede this one issue in fucking Iowa. Sorry.

The problem with using the Obama 08 comparison when discussing trans rights is that Obama was never suggesting going *backwards* on gay rights. Anti-trans politicians are

Brazil’s results tonight are a big endorsement for the idea that every country should have a second “are you you sure about that” election a couple weeks after the first one for the important stuff

Everything else aside, I'm sure a big factor why the movie isn't about any of those 3 women is that they would never let Nathan Fielder into their homes for two weeks to film a documentary

One of the main reason those states are shaded blue is because there's no risk of any Democrat ever trying to remove gender affirming care for adults from State Medicaid.
Anyway, now to turn on the news...

Already seen a few people who days ago would say "binning trans athletes it's worth it so Democrats can protect Medicaid" are now calling trans people politically incompetent for getting mad at Josh Turek. Perfect example of how leaders can move the Overton Window.

Josh Turek's position on trans healthcare is to the right of nine red states. Medicaid covering gender affirming care has been *the* reason for trans people to vote blue. If I wanted to define "Dems abandoning trans people," it'd be "if/when Turek's position is normalized."

I think at a certain point you have to realize that she has no real views and she's lazy, monetizing anger views on pithy tweets rather than make her once every two years Patreon videos.

By the way, for all the people who say its okay to concede on trans women in sports because it "only" impacts a few hundred people:
Over 150,000 trans people depend on Medicaid. For medically necessary treatment, not a hobby. Is that a high enough number for you to care yet?

QRTs have every mouth-breathing liberal bashing this poor woman while saying that Democrats are the champions of trans rights, which is strange when I’ve seen several ads from several Dem candidates for this election cycle that are actively transphobic.
Trans voter to @AOC: Trans people in America feel like they've been abandoned by the Democratic Party, that we are a losing issue, that it's not worth defending us. What do you say to that?

one time i showed casablanca to a friend for the first time, and when it was over, he said it was good, but it was distracting how many cliches they used. “i think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.” lines like that.
anyway this tweet reminds me of this
