Newly installed battery energy storage capacity in Germany jumped by 91% in the first three quarters of this year compared to the same period in 2025. 500,000 new storage systems with a combined capacity of around 8.2 GWh were commissioned across the country. ess-news.com/2026/10/22/germ…

Putin’s supposedly inevitable victory is looking rather deceased. The Institute for the Study of War says Russia is extraordinarily unlikely to prevail unless Western support collapses. Years into this catastrophe, Moscow is still fighting over villages while Ukrainian drones strike refineries deep inside Russia. Putin, naturally, hears something else. His court consists of well-fed Labradors, wagging at every absurdity and calling it grand strategy. Now Donald Trump has joined the kennel, a serial loser whose business genius included bankrupting casinos. There they sit, two men confusing flattery with reality, firmly at the bottom of the league while Ukraine keeps landing blows.

2/ Russian forces have made effectively zero net gains in 2026 at the cost of over 40,000 casualties per month since July and around 458 casualties for every square kilometer of territory that Russian forces lost.

Cheap air-launched cruise missiles from the ERAM program, launched by Biden and funded by Europe, should start arriving in Ukraine soon. Will Trump dare delay or block them?

That’s it: if Europe stays the course, 🇷🇺 can’t win.
This is interesting. Key Putin 🇷🇺 aide Ushakov admits that the Anchorage plan of having Trump 🇺🇸 force Zelensky 🇺🇦 into agreeing to their demands hasn’t worked because of the role of Europe. That’s it: if Europe stays the course, 🇷🇺 can’t win.

NEW from me: Last year, Mark Carney set a goal to double Canada's non-US exports by 2035. Today, he's already halfway there In response to Trump's tariffs & threats, Canadian businesses, consumers, & even tourists are taking difficult steps to decouple from the US🧵

Israelis heard three Druse speaking in Arabic in a Tel Aviv club. They beat them so badly all three were hospitalised. Now the Druse are protesting and blocking roads. Not least because all three were serving in the Israeli military. The Druse are drafted in Israel and often end up in elite formations. It's quite remarkable that they were attacked in hyper liberal Tel Aviv. But it shows you where Israeli youths are politically. The older generation of politicians often refer to Druse as blood brothers. The younger generation is just rabid.

X is not an open medium; rather, it is a private instrument of power in the hands of Elon Musk—a billionaire with authoritarian political alliances who, free from any democratic oversight, decides what becomes visible, who gains reach, and what rules apply. This is not freedom of speech; it is unchecked private power over public discourse. Elon Musk needs to be locked up—even before Trump.
We are being “Starlinked”. Many accounts are complaining about their reach being hampered. X isn’t free media if it’s limiting our visibility.

Israel has leveled most of the villages in South Lebanon, killed over 8,900 people, and displaced over 1 million, while carrying out a genocide in Gaza. Now it’s expanding ethnic cleansing into the West Bank and Syria. The Greater Israel plan isn’t a conspiracy theory.

🇨🇺 Cubans seek alternative water sources amid worsening shortages Water shortages affecting nearly 29 percent of Cuba's 9.4 million inhabitants are forcing residents to seek alternative sources of supply. From hand-dug wells to long lines at water distribution points, many Cubans are adapting to recurring outages and infrastructure failures that leave homes and businesses without running water

💥Blockbuster investigation by Australia's The Age reveals that billionaire Netanyahu pal James Packer has paid more than $1.25 million to Netanyahu attorney Amit Haddad– which, if it has anything to do with the PM's cases is an illegal contribution. Haddad, who is not known for his adherence to the truth, already raced to inform the court that he represents Packer company interests unrelated to the Netanyahu trial.

Kushner and Grenell are losing a Mafia buddy
6 months after Orban's election defeat another Putin supporter is exiting. Serbia's Aleksandar Vučić decisively lost the elections last night, after being 14 years in power. The opposition of teachers and students will take the lead. Vučić and especially his network behind him were essentiell for Russia's meddling into Serbia. Vučić also had a rather close relationship with associates of Trump. Grenell and Jared Kushner were in the Serbian capital, discussing "infrastructure" projects.

💥An Israeli security official to @CNN: "Netanyahu very much wanted to carry out a joint strike against Iran before the elections, and tried to persuade Trump, but didn't get the okay. One reason for that is that IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir told US counterpart Dan Kane that a strike would harm electoral process in Israel and lead to postponement of vote."
💥My report on Netanyahu's efforts to provoke renewed war with Iran before Tuesday's elections, citing @YaronAvraham's scoop tonight and followup from Haaretz's unparalleled Amos Harel. With @JJammine on @France24_en.

🇾🇪🇸🇦 In recent hours, the Houthis have claimed responsibility for: A ballistic missile attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Drone attacks on pumping stations along Saudi Arabia’s East–West crude oil pipeline, claiming accurate hits. Shooting down a Saudi Wing Loong II drone over Yemen’s Taiz governorate. Two ballistic missile attacks targeting Saudi troops and weapons depots in Salah al-Din, Aden governorate, and al-Waht, Lahj governorate. The group claimed dozens were killed or wounded and military vehicles and weapons depots were destroyed or set ablaze, identifying Saudi officer Badr al-Harbi as overseeing the targeted sites.

All true

💥#Breaking: Earlier today Lieberman, a Netanyahu rival and former Defense Minister, formally asked the AG to launch a criminal investigation for treason against Netanyahu. "The attempt to drag the State of Israel into war on the eve of elections, together with the willingness to sacrifice IDF soldiers solely due to fear of losing the elections, constitutes treason against the state, its security, and the IDF soldiers."
