If someone at The New York Times published this fake Talarico “scoop,” they would’ve been fired and driven out of journalism, because the NYT actually has journalistic standards. People like Nick Sortor do not. He is 1,000 times worse than what he sits around criticizing.

This is fascinating. World leaders always talk of the “two state solution” as involving two democratic countries, as if it’s self evident that “Palestine” would be a democracy. What if that’s not its “very foundation”?

My favorite fact is that no one’s name ever got changed at Ellis Island because it makes people *absolutely furious.*

“We are not all right.” I said those words in the days after October 7, 2023. Three years later, we are STILL not all right. We remember the children, parents and grandparents murdered by Hamas. The young people who went to a music festival and never came home. The families whose pain does not end when the anniversary passes. And we are not all right when antisemitism spreads like wildfire, too often fueled or excused by government officials who have a responsibility to confront it. We are not all right when Jewish families live in fear and those entrusted to protect them look the other way. It is more important than ever to stand up, speak out and fight this hatred. Flightradar24 recorded a fake dive in real time. ADS-B Exchange independently recorded the exact same fake dive. Saudi ATC and radar logs recorded a fake emergency and landing. UAE ATC records logged the departure of a flight supposedly involved in an incident that never happened. Israeli ATC records logged the expected arrival of that same flight. The flight data recorder recorded fake altitude and control inputs. The cockpit voice recorder somehow matched the fake story too. Saudi aviation authorities agreed to write a preliminary assessment confirming a fake incident. UAE investigators agreed to open a real investigation into a staged event. Roughly 174 passengers agreed to fake an emergency and film it from every angle. Passengers agreed to storm the cockpit on cue and then give interviews afterward. Tabuk Airport and Saudi air traffic control agreed to handle a fake emergency landing. Saudi medical staff agreed to treat fake injuries and keep the secret. Israeli officials agreed to publicly discuss an incident they knew was fake. Ben Gurion Airport staff and ambulances agreed to wait for a plane that was never really in danger. News outlets independently verified fake passenger videos and all somehow reached the same conclusion. Passenger videos and photos from multiple phones all showed the same fake blood and chaos. The aircraft itself was physically damaged as part of the fake story. Saudi hospital records documented injuries from an attack that supposedly never happened. Custody and transfer records were created to document the pilots being moved to the UAE. Saudi authorities put the incident in writing in their preliminary assessment. Multiple governments and organizations issued matching official statements. Independent news organizations all separately reported the same fake event. The FlyDubai flight crew agreed to fake the entire incident. The cabin crew agreed to act terrified for the whole flight. FlyDubai management agreed to issue statements about an incident they knew was fake. So the theory requires hundreds of passengers, airline employees, medical staff, investigators, three countries’ aviation systems, flight-tracking services, journalists, physical aircraft damage, hospital records, radar data, and official documents to all be coordinated perfectly without anyone exposing it.

Not a miracle. It was awe-inspiring heroism and courage displayed during the attempt to hijack and crash Flydubai flight FZ1073 traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv, Israel. Hero: pilot and Indian national Smit Machchhar, who was attacked with a knife by his Omani co-pilot. While fighting his attacker, he was able to notify the crew and passengers (possibly by hitting the PA button). Lying in a pool of his own blood and still fighting, he was able to allow access to the cockpit while the plane was taking a violent nosedive, losing 17,000 to 18,000 feet in about two minutes. He fought like a lion and deserves so much respect and honor. @IndiaToday @ndtv @gauravcsawant @ShivAroor Heroes: the ordinary Israeli citizens who did not hesitate a second and jumped to assist the crew in fighting their way into the cockpit and subduing the co-pilot. This level of heroism and courage cannot be dismissed. People often miss that Israel has a citizen defense force made up of doctors, artists, college students, grandparents, business owners who all serve to defend their homes and nation against attacks by other nations, terrorist armies, and decentralized terror campaigns. Heroes: the flight crew who joined the passengers to get into the cockpit, subdue the attacker, and manage the passengers and chaos throughout the cabin. Heroes: off-duty pilots on board who were able to get the plane under control and safely land it in Saudi Arabia. It takes a village/tribe/community to keep each other safe, with people willing to fight evil when it comes to their doorstep. I have huge respect for all involved in this event.
