If you put toilet paper on the seat before you go to the bathroom in public and don’t flush the toilet paper down the toilet after and just leave it on the seat you should be castrated and of publicly executed

Writing this in my personal capacity, but I have been flying these types of aircraft for more than 20 years, with over 8,000 hours, and have reasonable familiarity with how the charter world operates. I feel compelled to post after seeing commentary about the Lear 60 crash, from missile strikes to DEI to critiquing this poor woman’s final radio calls.
That last part is what I find most troubling. She was the second-in-command (SIC), and while she was empowered to point out mistakes as part of good crew resource management, she was doing her job, communicating with ATC right to the end in a terrifying situation. She likely knew before many of those calls that she was going to die. I have heard final calls from friends, from military pilots with thousands of hours in fighter aircraft, and they are just as heartbreaking because they know the end is approaching.
I understand the public interest given the footage and audio. But you do not know the aircraft’s maintenance history, whether there was a structural failure, if any failure was induced by turbulence, overspeed, or overcontrol, or everything happening in that cockpit. I am sure weather will be part of the investigation, but beyond that, it is speculation. The charter industry routinely hires commercial pilots very early in their careers to gain experience alongside an ATP-qualified captain before they move up to the airlines. She would still have the appropriate training, qualifications, and checkouts by an FAA examiner or designee.
Let people investigate, learn, and share the facts. Be respectful to those who perished and the families who carry their memories. God bless them and their loved ones.
Sick to my stomach
Learjet co-pilot in fatal Florida crash ID'd as 20-year-old who got her license in high school trib.al/Us1GbvY
That plane crash audio one of the most unsettling things I’ve listened to in a while. Small planes are scary. looks like they tried to ascend to get out of turbulence and the plane iced up and she lost control. Prayers for all involved.
-2.3% I’ll take it honestly… i felt good about the outlook of markets up until GOOG and AMZN ER.
The PA in the hyperscalers and semi today to me indicate that the market does not believe the capex estimates and peak capex is in 2026.
The BBB has essentially forced the hyperscalers to spend as much as possible within the next 3 years so they get the depreciation tax incentives.
Trump got a sugar rush from Venezuela and thought Iran would be the same and royally fucked up and entered us into a pointless war.
Now the fed cant tell if the inflation is transitory and congress is gonna go from red sweep to blue sweep. Feels like we are fucked
JPM raising capex estimates for AMZN to $365-395B for 2027….
Not really sure where the money comes from anymore. Math starting to not math
Can’t wait to hear what Andy Al-Qaeda has to say on the call. $AMZN
If you needed a sign to be max long into the print tonight here it is. This guy is by far the biggest chud alive
$AMZN: Google results were a warning sign to Amazon investors.
Tonight the Street will likely discount favorable Sep results and an inline Dec guide because the long-term (starting second half of 2027) risk that personalized bots pose to the business is increasingly real.
Some of that is getting priced in today, with shares down 3.5% going into the print vs. Nasdaq down 1.5%.
Personalized bots will make it easy to find just what you’re looking for, making them a logical starting point for anything we buy.
Amazon wins for three reasons: 1. Finding what you want, 2. Speed, 3. Trust. The first will increasingly be under attack.
He has degenerative knee issues. Can’t believe we got a 1st round pick for him thanks @CuiBonoCapital
