My greyhounds shaped me in to who I am today. They’ve taught me kindness, acceptance and patience. But they also taught me about the cruelty of the greyhound racing industry. Today I got to repay them. Today we passed @TheGreenParty policy to call for an end greyhound racing.

Devastating news that our wonderful friend Vicki was killed by a car whilst out walking yesterday. Fighting for a better, fairer and safer world was in her bones and I feel so lucky to have known her. What a terrible loss. Heartbroken for her family and everyone who knew her 💔

Polling day in Hale! 15 hours apart- 7am at the polling station with the greyhounds, followed by lots of doorknocking and now back here until 10pm! Keep everything crossed for us folks 💚

😳 I simply cannot believe the lunacy of this proposal by @TheGreenParty to “abolish private landlords.” 🏡 I’ve been a landlord for 26 years and run a property management company for 23 years. 💼 I’ve sat on government consultative groups, serve on the Zoopla Lettings Advisory Board, and was President of #ARLA @PropertymarkUK . Do they not understand how the #PRS actually works — or the risks landlords face daily? Private landlords provide homes for millions, often where councils cannot.
