Absolutely flummoxing muties with my complete, borderline hero worship appreciation of Joey Ramone's music
Joey Ramone doing that thing where he brings me to the verge of tears by singing about how he's so totally done with life but he's not giving up, man, he's not
I've tried time and time again to rationalize my dislike of Kenny Omega beyond "I hate how he moves" and have come to the conclusion that that is enough.
Among the first things God does in the Book of Leviticus is give the Tribes the recipe for fried chicken and tells them that's how He will accept any avian sacrifices from now on. No, really.
Ossoff sweeping Georgia is the exact reason why I'm never gonna bother voting again after Vance is out of office. It's all kayfabed. The same shell game feeling I got taking the OAR twice and getting the same score both times. You can build your filthy world without me.
"Burned the roof of my mouth so badly eating pizza that I had to scrape bits of my own flesh off with a toothbrush" award
Having now read the Book of Exodus all the way through, pretty sure the Golden Calf incident was done on purpose by God to remind the Tribes that all power ultimately comes from contrition to Him. That it's later counter-pointed by the first act of tithing seals it for me.

In New Mexico, every waitress asks you the same question before you eat.
"Red or green?"
I thought I was being asked to pick a side in a war.
In Japan, every kid gets put on the red team or the white team for sports day, starting at age six. It goes back to two samurai clans, one red and one white, who fought each other 800 years ago. You stay on your team. You do not switch.
So in Albuquerque, when the waitress said "Red or green?", I took a breath and said, "Red."
She wrote it down. No follow-up.
The next day in Santa Fe. "Red or green?" I'd already pledged.
"Red."
On the third day, the man at the next table had green chile on his eggs, and it smelled so good I nearly stood up. But I couldn't switch. I had given my word. I sat there holding the menu, fighting myself.
The waitress watched me for a second. She didn't ask a single question. She just said:
"Get Christmas, baby."
Christmas means both. Red on one side, green on the other.
800 years of samurai history, and nobody back home ever thought of that.
Later I found out "Red or green?" isn't just a habit. In 1996 the New Mexico Legislature made it the official state question.
A whole state has an official question. And the best answer is "both."
When I paid, she patted my shoulder.
"Out here, hon, you never have to pick a side."
Kills me that there are only four or so dedicated horror movie YTers and they all just copy one another hoping nobody will notice
