1. Make a movie called Resident Evil.
2. Movie has almost no connection to Resident Evil.
3. Get angry when fans call out movie for having almost no connection to Resident Evil.
Modern filmmaking, everyone.
Zach Cregger says he was frustrated with the reaction to his Resident Evil movie because people spent too much time arguing about how different it was from the games.
“I was frustrated at the conversation around Resident Evil and how much of the conversation really didn’t have anything to do with the movie.”
People kept focusing on missing characters, changes to the lore and why the film wasn’t closer to the original games.
Cregger wanted to capture what it feels like to play Resident Evil rather than just copy the games’ story and characters.
He’s still proud of the movie, though, and says he made exactly the film he wanted.

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.
Ariel’s a good one
You All Have To Change Your Approach Now:
Here Is What You Need To Do
You're calling branch managers and wealth advisors asking about currency revaluation. They don't know. They won't know. And the fact that you're letting their ignorance shake your conviction tells me you don't understand what's actually happening. Because you're looking for confirmation from people who are structurally incapable of giving it to you.
Let me explain what I mean, and I'm not going to be soft footabout it because you need to stop making decisions based on fear and start making them based on infrastructure.
WHY YOUR BANKER DOESN'T KNOW AND SHOULDN'T:
The person sitting across from you at Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, or wherever you're booking appointments that person manages retail accounts. They open CDs, process wire transfers, sell you mutual funds with expense ratios that quietly bleed your returns, and answer questions about debit card fraud. Their training covers compliance, customer service, and product sales. Their internal memos cover quarterly performance targets and regulatory updates that haven't changed in fifteen years.
• They are not in the room where settlement infrastructure decisions get made.
• They are not on the call where the Treasury Secretary aligns with a fintech company that just received a National Trust Bank charter.
• They are not receiving briefings from the Federal Reserve about new master account allocations or DTCC tokenization pilot programs.
Their information pipeline runs through a regional manager who reports to a divisional VP who reports to an executive committee that even at the top is learning about this transition the same way everyone else is. After it's already built.
I have a feeling this is going to be long. Tell you all what. I will make this article "Free to Read" just for today for a few hours on my Patreon later today. Because I have things I need to get to right now. So check my Patreon anytime after 1pm. Make sure you copy/paste and save it.
Yep, Kyler was supposed to be the league MVP as soon as he stepped in the building, we heard over and over again how Kyler was the 1st overall pick in his draft, was really good in 2023 and “he can like run n stuff.”
He’s been weak. That’s all.
Replying to @thorku
Meanwhile, thru 5 games, Kyler has a lower completion %/QBR/success rate with half as many TD and 30 less YPG vs NFL’s easiest SOS to date than he did in 5 for Cards LY that convinced them to pay his salary to play elsewhere.
You’ve seen this movie before, you know the ending.
Tough seeing old heroes leave us…
I am deeply saddened to learn of Walter Koenig’s passing.
Although we did not know each other well away from the set, we shared the later seasons of the original Star Trek series and the six films that followed.
What I observed, and what so many fans have expressed over the years, was a man who genuinely loved the Star Trek community.
At conventions, Walter was rarely content to remain behind a signing table. He preferred to be among the people who had kept Star Trek alive for so many decades.
That kind of genuine connection is rare, and it will be remembered by everyone who came into contact with him.
My condolences to his family, his friends, and the countless fans whose lives he touched.

Vikings introduced both Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason as starters today, as they plan to use both of them against the Colts. Offense is close to full strength for the first time in weeks.

BREAKING: Scientists in Japan have found a way to make cancer cells destroy themselves.
They developed a toxin that activates in the presence of carbon monoxide, selectively targeting cancer cells while leaving normal cells unharmed.
This research is still at the lab stage and has not yet been proven effective or safe in humans.

I’ve been training to Rocky 4 music for longer than a lot of people have been alive and it’s still just as badass and motivating as ever.
