Me finishing a very dark novel as the Christians and horror conversation goes on and wondering exactly how some of my haters are going to dissect that⦠š
((itās really more thriller, but itās definitely dark)
You guys need to create an account at Loor.tv and get this indie film funded.
Only a select few executives in the United States greenlight all the entertainment for 300M people.
We think those 300M people should have the final say.
Everyone can be a producer at LOOR.

The folks at @WatchLoor are on to something. Check them out.
Last week Allie Beth Stuckey attacked horror films, and anything that was scary...like true crime.
Saying things like this prevents studios that cater to specific conservative audiences to not want to take the financial risk to discover new talent, who create new things.
This damages the entire new artist pipeline.
If studios release a horror film, or a suspense film and it offends the stay at home mother like Allie, they risk alienating the entire female fan base. Which is their primary market, leftover from the Christian Bookstores days.
This means we never get to see micro budget thrillers or emerging artists. Those story tellers are forced to either make hallmark slop to appease conservative female audiences or go and try to gain attention from major studios. Good luck.
So there's a problem that I set out to solve.
How can narrative film makers, get their micro budget projects seen and funded? How can we push the boundaries of entertainment without begging for Hollywood's scraps?
Last week we began opening up pitches for artists. Of all the submissions we got, one really stood out. I'm Fine.
I'm Fine is the story of a reclusive woman who refuses to accept the world has moved on from a pandemic is forced to decide if the greatest danger lies outside her locked doors... or within.
The film is made by Husband and Wife team Andew and Jae Huff, and stars Jae Huff.
The goal is simple. The film has already been shot. But it doesn't stream unless the audience funds it.
If the audience likes it, they fund it. If it reaches its goal in 30 days it streams for everyone.
No gatekeepers. No Hollywood studios. No focus groups.
Just the creators and the fan.
Here's a clip from I'm Fine. If it peaks your interest, visit LOOR, and give a bit to produce it. Top producers get their name in the credits. The winner takes the top spot.
This is just the beginning as we sort through all the other submissions. So stay tuned.
No Taxes on Tips?
You can now tip your favorite films and support indie creators long after the movie is produced.

Thereās a lot of āSomeone should do thisā and āSomeone should do thatā in Christian tv/film. @ImKingGinger picked up that utterly stationary ball, and heās running with it at @WatchLoor.
Subscribe to Marcus. Heās doing the thing.

Been rolling out PRs to LOOR all day. Major user experience fixes based on people sending me feedback. I really appreciate it.
I want to build the absolute bestest and funnest website to fund indie creators as possible.
Thanks for all the feedback!
Glad you finally adopted our long standing No Nudity and No Blasphemy policy, but would you distribute our John Wick style trinity defending action thriller "Athanasius Contra Mundum?"
We just made a promise no Hollywood studio has ever made. No sex or nudity on screen, no F-word, and no misuse of God's name in Angel originals. And 3 million Guild members get a veto on everything before it ever lands on Angel.
Parents shouldn't have to sift through a dozen movies to find one they can watch. That's why we made the Angel Promise. foxnews.com/media/angel-studā¦

The pitches keep rolling in and one really caught our attentionā¦
I'm Fine is a psychological thriller from husband and wife team Andy and Jae Huff from Nashville.
What they have created with a micro budget is almost unbelievable. Produce it on LOOR!

Let's build.
Crowdfunding should come with bragging rights.
Most crowdfunding platforms treat a $10 backer and a $10,000 backer about the same. Your name goes on a list, you get an update email, and thatās the end of it. Nobody wins. Nobody competes. Thereās no reason to come back.
Sports figured this out a long time ago. So did gaming. People will happily spend more when thereās status on the line and everyone can see it.
At LOOR, we built that into how entertainment gets funded.
Itās called Dynamic Credits. Every contribution to a film or video game on LOOR TV is ranked by amount. The top four backers earn on-screen billing as Executive Producer, Co-Producer and the titles that follow. Everyone else earns a Special Thanks credit.
The rankings stay live until the campaign closes, so a top spot is never guaranteed. The fan in fifth place has a real reason to give a little more. The fan in first has a real reason to defend it.
For creators, that changes the math. Their most dedicated supporters finally get recognized in proportion to what they put in, and casual fans have something to play for.
Credits are the first piece. Thereās a lot more gamification coming to LOOR.
Fans reward creators. We reward the fans.
