I have never wanted to buy an @Apple product less than I do after watching this. 🔥 This ad is a three-minute panic attack filmed in a kitchen that should have been condemned by the city. You took the most basic smart display on the market—a $299 square screen that recognizes faces and reads your texts—and decided the best way to sell it was to drop the viewer into the middle of a family that actively hates existing in the same room. The kids are snarling at each other over French toast like they’re auditioning for a custody battle. The dad is smiling like a man resigned to his fate and wants to unalive himself. The mom is vibrating with the kind of low-grade rage that makes you want to know where the exits are located in case something pops off. And the grandparents call in specifically to tell the dad his beard makes him look like an actor they hate. That is the emotional register of the entire spot. The music is frantic, the cuts are frantic, the dialogue is frantic, and none of it is in service of anything except proving that this household is one unplanned pregnancy announcement away from someone throwing themselves on a grenade so they don't have to deal with it anymore. The HomeView is there the whole time, politely fetching recipes and finding keys like Marvin the Paranoid Android from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. His quote from the book is so appropriate here: "Funny, how just when you think life can’t possibly get any worse it suddenly does." Apple’s traditional move is to make a product look inevitable, and the life around it look desirable, productive, and clean. This one makes the product look like an emotional support animal facilitating chaos and dysfunction. The final image of the family gathered around the screen does not read as "family time". I was waiting for someone to say, “I’m going to stay at my sister’s for a while”, or "Can we go live with grandma?" Three minutes of a family communicating exclusively in eye-rolls, sarcasm, and passive-aggression, scored like the chase scene in The Blues Brothers, ending with a device that costs as much as a decent air fryer. Whoever greenlit this horror movie should be fired. It is not edgy. It is not honest. It is a stress simulation that somehow costs $299 to replicate. #apple #homeview
This might be the first time I’ve ever watched an Apple ad that made me actively not want to buy the product

All the coward cops who allowed those children to be slaughtered because they were afraid to go inside the school should be forced to stand at attention during the dedication of this park.

When I first saw this, it reminded me of the hours of drone footage I've seen from the Russia/Ukraine war. The similarities are interesting. The only thing missing in this video is the explosion at the end. I can't stand thieves.
Police drones are now tracking grab-and-run thieves — this one chased two suspects through a Ross parking lot in Concord, California.

Denver PD stops the completely wrong car — different make, different color, Kansas plates instead of Colorado, going the opposite direction. Officer Kirk Malone says he’s “not good with cars,” then accidentally fires a round getting out of the cruiser because of a “bad grip.” They still hold the couple at gunpoint and detain them even after it’s clear they grabbed the wrong people. City settles for $225,000. He got a medal. You can't make this up. Full breakdown: youtube.com/watch?v=a7Gdn11M… H/T @LackLusterYT

Those who demand your submission never return the favor. They’ll crush the obedient the moment they are no longer useful. Compliance is an extracted resource, not a reward for virtue; the moment your usefulness drops below the cost of maintaining you, the same machinery that demanded your compliance will erase you without hesitation or apology.

You can't make this up. @houstonpolice, do better. This is a failure in hiring and fitness standards - and thus a failure of leadership. I'm shocked they didn't shoot the suspect in the back, since that's the only tool they have to solve that kind of situation without commandeering someone's vehicle and demanding the driver accept all the risk.

“For your safety” is the buzz phrase of the oppressor. It has been forever. Whenever something is done without your consent in the name of your safety, you should recognize that as a huge red flag on a slippery slope.
Flock Safety CEO Garrett Langley says Americans can’t outright ban Flock cameras because they are ‘for our safety’ “I value my privacy, my family values their privacy, my employees value their privacy, but what we're talking about is safety as well” “So I think when people talk about just one of these, privacy or safety, they're prioritizing the wrong thing. And what we have to prioritize as a country is compromise — when I think about legislation that calls for an outright ban, that's like banning vehicles” Actually no, it’s nothing like banning vehicles. This is banning a mass surveillance network that extends far beyond license plate readers. Flock is putting up people tracking AI powered cameras in parks, playgrounds, trails and many other places Flock is mass surveillance without a warrant

The upcoming election between Ken Paxton and James "29 genders" Tallirico is important. Let this photo burn into your memory. It represents Tallirico's whole voting bloc. It is a dire warning in human form. This is all you need to know.

City of Trinidad Police Department in Texas arrested this man for his sign. Guess who's about to get a legal education on the 1st Amendment. Meal Team 6 apparently loves bad cops. And that's also an illegal "no guns" sign at the entrance to city hall. Lesson in 2A coming too.

The police are not your friends. Stop treating them like it. "But, CJ, not all cops are bad!" OK, do the bad ones wear name tapes and let you know?! NO! So stop thinking they are good until they prove it to you or you're going to jail.
Woman traveling to Phoenix to get married, blew triple zeroes on a breathalyzer and still got slapped with a DUI. Meanwhile, the arresting officer is on body cam casually chatting about “conjuring up” DUIs. If that doesn’t scream quota culture, what does?

This is tyrannical. The man did nothing wrong. He’s just exercising his God-given, Second Amendment-protected right to bear arms.
Now: Police confront a man about having a suppressor at the end of his rifle, which they say is not allowed here outside the Virginia State Capitol in Richmond. He stays, and says he’s not going to comply after the officers left.

Let me tell you how the Information War is won. Pose intelligent questions to Leftists based on facts and logic. You are not doing so for the purpose of changing the Leftists' minds, because they won't. The reason you are doing it is so unpersuaded third parties will see you asking intelligent questions to Leftists, and the Leftists either do not respond or say something inane/stupid. THAT is how you wage effective Information Warfare. Be an Information Warrior.
