Awesome interview. Thanks for that!
Fireside Chat: Ron Baron and Elon Musk teapawt.org/i/broadcasts/2YRYWgMNj…
Yes
Elon Musk predicts space will become the lowest-cost place to run superintelligence within just 2–3 years
“I think the case is a no-brainer for building solar-powered AI data centers in space”
Solar panels facing the Sun and radiators pointed away from it can provide an incredibly efficient power and cooling system
“The net effect is that the lowest cost place to put AI will be space. And that'll be true within two years, maybe three at the latest”
Terafab is moving fast
Tesla's chip effort is moving at Tesla speed, not semiconductor speed.
Elon says TeraFab is going well, and @FutureAZA watched the related Fab Lab at Giga Texas go from bare ground to steel in days.
Brian saw the site still lit and dusty at midnight, with work continuing around the clock. A Korean supplier executive says early-morning US questions get answers within 30 minutes to an hour.
Tesla is treating chip development as a manufacturing race, not a conventional vendor-managed project. $TSLA
Direly needed updates!
NHTSA is launching a new initiative to modernize vehicle safety recalls, with a major focus on over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
Info:
• NHTSA acknowledges that OTA recall fixes generally achieve high completion rates because owners don't need to visit a dealership/service center.
• The agency is exploring more flexible recall notification requirements, including electronic notifications instead of traditional mail (I've been asking for this!)
• NHTSA announced $1.5 million in grants to help states improve how vehicle owners are notified about outstanding recalls.
• NHTSA is examining how recall requirements apply to autonomous vehicles and software-based fixes.

GIGA Berlin is such a hub of light and knowledge! Love you, guys!
Berlin Tesla Engineering Center opens today
From permit to operational in under a year, it brings 4 engineering sites onto 1 campus w/ 30 different labs in Köpenick, 30 minutes from Giga Berlin
With our 3rd hub of this kind after Fremont & Shanghai, we’re combining materials, powertrain, vehicle engineering & validation under one roof – enabling a short feedback loop between development & ramp
Working across the isle has always benefitted the people.
🇺🇸 Texas Senator-elect James Talarico just gave Trump CREDIT, for SECURING the southern border...
And he says he's ready to work with Trump: on immigration reform, cutting housing regulations, building millions of homes, and legalizing marijuana.
“I look forward to working with him for all 31 million Texans.”
A Democrat praising Trump's border policies?
Now that's something you don't hear every day. 😂

Big news! SpaceX has just officially announced that they are partnering with Qualcomm to help build @Starlink Mobile's nationwide terrestrial 5G network, with deployment beginning in 2027.
Under the multi-year agreement, SpaceX plans to deploy tens of thousands of cellular sites across the U.S., powered by Qualcomm's Dragonwing infrastructure technology.
Details:
• Qualcomm will supply its Dragonwing QRU100 and QDU100 platforms to power Starlink Mobile's 5G base stations.
• The network will use advanced 64T64R Massive MIMO technology to improve coverage, capacity, and spectrum efficiency.
• Energy-efficient processing will help reduce power consumption and improve network deployment economics.
• The infrastructure will support multiple spectrum bands and lay the groundwork for future AI-native 6G technology.
SpaceX says its goal is to build the first fully integrated nationwide satellite and terrestrial mobile network, combining traditional cell towers with its satellite constellation to keep customers connected virtually everywhere.
This is a BIG step toward SpaceX becoming a full-fledged nationwide wireless carrier, directly competing with AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. New competition is coming to town.

There's no info to my knowledge, when this will come to other countries, but I'll try and keep you posted as soon as news reach me...
