Did you know that HMP High Down has 26 @samaritans Listeners?
It's a peer-support scheme where prisoners volunteer & are trained by the Samaritans to support other prisoners with wellbeing when they most need it, while also gaining valuable life skills. #WorldMentalHealthDay 🟢

Fatima’s UK Campaign is collaborating and working in partnership with High Down Prison to help their young offenders in skilling them up and to help prisoners settle back into the community with advice on housing.
It's #ZeroDiscriminationDay! At @HMPHigh_Down, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone to create a culture that promotes rehabilitation and recognises the importance of a diverse, skilled & valued workforce which is engaged & motivated.

A huge thank you to @ellie_vt and @SurreyPolice for organising a tour of @HMPHigh_Down. It was great to speak to some of the team and the prisoners there and I look forward to potentially working with them and the inmates to create positive change and hope for the future.
We'll be at the London Job Show!
Chat to our staff about the variety of roles in the Prison Service and find out how to apply.

The Princess of Wales visited HMP High Down in Surrey today.
As a Patron of @ForwardTrust, Her Royal Highness learned about how the charity supports prisoners to beat their addictions and break the cycle of crime.

Thank you so much @HMPHigh_Down for this donation. It will make a big difference to the learning experiences we can offer our students. Thank you for helping to transform lives!
Last week, prisoners in our Bicycle Repair Workshop put the finishing touches to six bicycles which were donated to @ValleyAddington . The prisoners gained new skills, helping to improve their employment outcomes while giving back to the local community.
