Raised Catholic, I was taught abortion was wrong in all circumstances. I became a single-issue voter.
Years later my first pregnancy ended tragically. At 12 weeks there was no heartbeat.
They scheduled a D&C. I was sobbing so hard during the procedure that they stopped and brought my husband in to calm me before trying again. That’s the same procedure used for abortion.
Since Roe fell, women in many states have been denied or delayed that care while doctors fear prosecution.
Abortion saved my life. It allowed me to go on and have three successful pregnancies.
I would never take life-saving care from a woman and her doctor. But if a woman’s faith precludes her from this, I respect her decision. That’s her choice for herself.
Changing your mind isn’t weakness. It’s strength.

Holy shit...this clip is unreal. Nithya Raman has absolutely NO clue about how housing works in LA. Oppenheim explains to her that landlords are losing money over the last decade and she's got ZERO idea what he's saying. This lady was chair of the Homelessness and Housing Committee for years and she's genuinely hearing this for the first time in her life. Unreal that this low IQ buffoon is about to be the Mayor. WTF are we doing.
So my first guess on what's happening here
1. It's a beginner league which this kid shouldn't be in. It's for kids who have never played to learn basics. His parents put him in the league to have him dominate the other kids because they've never played before
2. Parents get annoyed because he's hogging the ball and their kids are just running around getting bored and not even playing soccer
3. Kid's parents also record/live stream the game to show how awesome their kid is at beating kids who have never played before
4. They're probably also trash talking the other kids. They would be lucky I wasn't there because they wouldn't trash talk my 3-5yo.
5. Per league rules, kid has to sit the second half so others can play. His parents start causing nonsense because they want him to keep embarrassing the other kids.
6. Black Caribbean league director tells the parents they need to leave because they're obviously causing issues intentionally and their kid doesn't belong in a developmental league.
7. The parents start berating league director. Then claim racism when their misbehavior is called out.
8. League director tells them to leave and they're also kicked out of league. Parents, of course, become even more belligerent because they can't obey the rules of civilized society
9. League director has had enough and calls cops to document these people being a nuisance and justify trespassing them if they continue their misbehavior

I've got a friend that automatically raises his job quotes by 30% for Indians. He knows they're going to be a terrible pain, so either they
1. go to someone else with a lower quote, and he doesn't have to deal with it
2. If they take his quote, he can lower it 10% and still make money despite them wasting his time
