EXIT POLLS RESULTS ISRAEL ELECTIONS Israel’s election has produced a hung Knesset, with neither Benjamin Netanyahu’s bloc nor Gadi Eisenkot’s opposition able to form a government on its own. With nearly all regular ballots counted, Netanyahu’s bloc stands at 53 seats and Eisenkot’s opposition bloc at 48, both short of the 61 seats needed for a majority in the 120-seat Knesset. Arab parties hold a potentially decisive 19 seats (Joint List 12 and Ra’am 7). Roughly 600,000 double-envelope ballots (primarily from soldiers and other absentee voters) still need to be counted, with final results expected tomorrow.
