RISK MANAGEMENT MASTERCLASS
Nothing you do in trading matters if you don’t make it to the finish line. I’ve spent 15 years refining my thoughts after seeing many of those around me blowup.
Here are the exact steps you need to survive:

Some stocks are just meant to be taken of your watch list. It’s just makes your life better without them. The sex was fun for a while but that’s it’s, delete her.

Retail traders world is different from your world. You can ask them about sharpe ratio but they don’t know what it is and do not even think like that. It is like asking bikini clad Brazilian women on beach about GDP and deficit of Brazil.

Who knows? In the future, it might be able to. But there will still be discretionary traders who will make money.
Think of it like this: China can produce Ties for a few cents or a dollar and sell them for 10 dollars, but we still have Italian ones selling for 250 dollars or more.
Craftsmanship never gets replaced.

One of my life mantras I try to live by and it translates to the market.
As yourself this question and be honest about the answer.
“Will it matter in a week, month, or a year?”
90% of the time it won’t so stop bringing in the negative energy and let it go. Just useless stress, move on.
The number of people who got bearish because we pulled back 5% after going up 30% in a straight line emphasizes how most market participants just can’t handle normal volatility.
Learn to embrace volatility and your chances of success will go up exponentially.

Here's a trick if work is going *terribly*:
Find areas in your life where you can win.
A hobby, your fitness.... Anything.
Victories translate & bleed into other areas, just as the negative does.
Start stacking energy in your favor.

AI doesn’t lead to convergent and efficient markets imo. It actually leads to greater divergence because everyone's thesis is going to be so deeply researched, which just adds more anchoring.
Companies are too complex. There’s always going to be a good side and a risky side simultaneously, depending on the hat each participant wears.
One thing for sure…behavioral dynamics are going to dominate more and more. That’s why I’m focused a lot on themes, because they represent the perfect synthesis of operational reality + behavioral dynamics.

Does not mean everything gets priced in one day. There will still be secular trends lasting decades, there will still be cyclical trends, there will be turnarounds, CEO caught in sex scandal, politicians, diseases, shortages, new discoveries, new fashions, new social trends and not to forget only fans on Mars. And those things will lead to stocks going up and down.
AI is tool it is not solution to every problem

Okay, but don't you think AI will be faster than humans at closing the Observe, Orient, Decide, and Act (OODA) loop when new catalysts and narrative information are available?
Hawkinz retweeted
No. Market inherently are driven by catalysts and narratives which are not predictable.

Do you think AI and other new technologies will make many trading tactics obsolete in the next ten years?
