When the Baboons and Monkeys heard that the Man who used to chase them away from the maize field had died, they hysterically celebrated. The following year, there was no maize, that is when they painfully realized the dead Man was the Farmer!

For those of you who thought the visit from a Bedford Borough Council official to investigate our daughter Zoe’s (age 12) pretend teddy bear cafe was too ridiculous to be real, here is the arrival of official. This is totally legit. She really did show up at our property to investigate the illegal teddy bears having their coffee🧸🧸☕️☕️

Another crazy incident in our old house (now sold) - We got visited by an official from the planning department for Bedfordshire Borough Council Why? Because Zoe’s (age 12) toy cafe got reported for illegal trading. I kid you not. We had to show the lady around our property to prove we weren’t running an illegal operation.

Have you noticed that when backing out of a parking space pedestrians no longer stop and wait? They walk right across the path of your moving vehicle.
That didn't happen twenty years ago. Backup cameras, rear cross-traffic radar, and warning chimes haven't just changed the car—they've retrained the pedestrian to assume the machine will see them and stop. Every safety system rewrites the habits of the people around it.
Unintended consequences.

This is insane. This High Protein Beef mince in Lidl is only 60% beef. There’s nothing on the front label. It’s only when you turn over the ingredients you see it’s 20% pea protein and the other 20% is water and seasoning .. you are buying 40% less meat than you think.!

That's funny because at my last strategy meeting with my accountant, they informed me I must use HMRC-recognised Making Tax Digital compatible software, creating an oligopoly for firms like Xero.
I must now also report my company's income every three months rather than once a year, as well as a final report at year end.
So I now have to pay for a Xero subscription.
And pay my accountant more for the increased submissions.
And fuck about with reconciling every three months, rather than once a year.
For HMRC to end up with the same amount of income from me as before.
Fuck off.
Just fuck off.
Fuck off all the way back to Yorkshire, then fuck off some more.
Why mention @Dyson in the clickbait headline when the product in question isn’t remotely connected to Dyson - let’s face it, if you are buying a £12 hairdryer it probably isn’t likely to be the best or safest on the market!🙄

Sunday Times reports 5 SAS soldiers hunting ISIS in Syria came under fire, shot two men, and were cleared by the first review.
Then arrested for double murder. Homes raided.
Sent back behind enemy lines 48 hours after questioning.
All five have since left.

interesting article in today’s @thetimes about the 71%
decline in hedgehog numbers between 1981 and 2023. Only a small mention of badgers, their main predators, which became a protected species in late 1973 - surely some sort of correlation?

Just to spell it out:
1. Folic acid is being added to some gluten free products by manufacturers
2. Wholemeal flour is exempt but almost all wholemeal bread contains folic acid.
3. Avoiding bread will not be enough when it is in the FLOUR in numerous products.
Sign petition.
