Bye.
Breaking: the FAA has shut down airspace over the Department of Energy’s Savannah River Site, with a notice calling it a “US Government Nuclear Incident.”
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The FAA NOTAM used standard terminology for a temporary restriction during a nuclear site incident; official updates confirm a contained lab fire was extinguished with no detectable off-site contamination and the Site Area Emergency was terminated.

"If you're serious about getting rid of Netanyahu, you'll do the obvious thing and join in a government with the literal terrorist supporters who want to destroy the country"
Pretty much sums up how retarded the "anyone but Bibi" crowd has been.
If Gadi Eisenkot and the opposition bloc are remotely serious about getting rid of Netanyahu, and about Israel’s democratic future, they’ll do the obvious, strategic, and non-racist thing of forming a government with the Arab parties.
A Jewish-Arab political partnership is necessary to meet this political moment, and for any shared future.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Walter Koenig’s passing.
Although we did not know each other well away from the set, we shared the later seasons of the original Star Trek series and the six films that followed.
What I observed, and what so many fans have expressed over the years, was a man who genuinely loved the Star Trek community.
At conventions, Walter was rarely content to remain behind a signing table. He preferred to be among the people who had kept Star Trek alive for so many decades.
That kind of genuine connection is rare, and it will be remembered by everyone who came into contact with him.
My condolences to his family, his friends, and the countless fans whose lives he touched.

🚨🇮🇱 High Suspicions of Widespread Voter Fraud in Israel’s Arab Sector, 700+ Complaints Recorded
A former senior Shin Bet official has warned overcrowded polling stations in Arab communities can enable individuals to vote multiple times.
“We know this from the past: they come one after another, go home, bring several identity cards, go to the back of the line, and of course enter again,” Amit Assa claimed during C14’s special election broadcast.
Assa warned large crowds are placing enormous pressure on polling committee members, forcing them to rush identification procedures and potentially overlook irregularities. Hundreds of complaints are reportedly reaching Israel’s Central Elections Committee.
Assa also raised concerns about the identification of women wearing veils, as officials must balance proper identity verification with respect for religious and cultural sensitivities—a process which can be exploited.

The Israeli election with the highest turnout was the first one, in 1949, with 86.9%. Second place: 1965 with 83%. We don't have midday turnout numbers for those elections.
The highest in the 21st century: 2015, with 72.3%. Netanyahu won.
Another actual Israel Firster, apparently.
Gov. Hochul said her job would be 'a lot easier' if Netanyahu loses the election trib.al/OeUZJjY

Of course, the 3 million Arab settlers in the West Bank could vote. Their leaders, however, refuse to hold elections, so… 🤷♂️
