Many South Africans think the right politician can fix this country but have you ever met a politician? I have, quite a few. I am not convinced at all.

The West spent decades condemning apartheid. In 1985, the apartheid government itself rejected a plan to move black people even 50 kilometres to their own homelands. The reason given was humanitarian and economic. Deportation was considered too extreme. Today the fastest-growing parties in Europe are openly calling for the deportation of millions — including, in some proposals, people born in Europe — back to Africa and the Middle East. The West is starting to understand what it spent decades condemning. youtu.be/VNazbIXj-Mc?si=tTOY…

🇧🇷 Brazil’s election ended with Lula winning by 4.4 million votes... and half the country asking HOW?!?! Going into yesterday, Flávio Bolsonaro was the CLEAR betting favorite at around 80% on Polymarket. Then, minutes after polls were supposed to close, a Supreme Court justice stepped in and extended voting nationwide by 2 hours, without waiting for the electoral court to rule. That justice, Cristiano Zanin, used to be Lula’s PERSONAL DEFENSE LAWYER in the Car Wash corruption case, and Lula appointed him to the court. (Which might explain that look of pure devotion in the photo.) Both campaigns had asked for more time, but the order caused chaos. Stations that had already closed had to stay shut, machines in parts of Rio couldn’t be restarted, and the vote count was frozen. When counting resumed, Flávio briefly LED. But the betting markets flipped to Lula about an hour before the official count did. Bolsonaro is refusing to concede and wants the entire runoff annulled, calling the extension an illegal rule change by a judge tied to his opponent. When Lula’s former lawyer rewrites the rules mid-vote, the least Brazil deserves is a full investigation. If it’s all clean, what’s there to fear? This is correct.
Everyone knows a DA/VF+/MK coalition in Durban and Joburg is the best option. Everyone except the DA of course.

I’ve had about 10% the number of his and eventually you just become in a zen like state. If you want to change the world, you’re in the litigation business. Most people will privately confess to me they’re scared to death of the lawsuits. But any actual effective social change leads to litigation. Taking on fraud also leads to litigation. When you expose people or take their money away they sue you. They’ll even try changing laws to stop you. Literally anything worth doing will lead to dozens of lawsuits.

If a company in any other country did this they would be sued into oblivion. Over and above that in a better time long past the theft of IP would be considered morally indefensible and very “uncool”. I’m not sure what the success of these types of vehicles says about our society but it’s nothing good.
Here's a look at the facelifted Jetour T2 which is known as the T7 in China. The facelifted T2 looks more Defender than ever before and thanks to its popularity, it will be assembled at Chery's Rosslyn plant alongside other best-sellers.

The Daveyton Station AFTER @MYANC government, specifically @MbalulaFikile tenure as Transport Minister, destroyed it. Without running trains on the Daveyton-Boksburg route to JHB, travel for jobseekers is unaffordable. The govt they elected has condemned them to poverty.

What was the educational system for black people before Bantu education, Goolam?
Under apartheid millions were classified by race, dispossessed, subjected to deliberately unequal education and denied meaningful political representation. This was not merely bad governance. It was institutionalised racial domination by the racist white minority

The same Ryan Coetzee, who is overseeing the DA's ministerial caucus in the Government of National Unity (GNU), is mocking one of the greatest speeches of our time. Ironically, Ryan continues to fail upwards. As General Election Director of Strategy for the Liberal Democrats (under Nick Clegg), the party collapsed from 57 seats to just 8. Coetzee is frequently described as having led the party into a near-oblivion result. As Director of Strategy for the Britain Stronger in Europe (Remain) campaign, he was on the losing side of the referendum that saw the UK vote to leave the EU. How he manages to bullshit his way from one job to the next needs to be studied by experts one day.

I believe South Africa is the only country in Africa where illegal foreign nationals can enter the country, establish informal settlements, and illegally connect to electricity and water services, while citizens are expected to remain silent for fear of being labelled xenophobic or accused of vigilantism. @Eskom_SA @Rand_Water @CityTshwane @HomeAffairsSA @GovernmentZA

Three weeks to the municipal election. Our count is 43 ward candidates and party activists killed in the run-up so far. This week, a gunman opened fire on ANC Youth League officials in Ekurhuleni, killing four. They were coming from the memorial of another official who had been assassinated two weeks earlier. IFP candidates. MK activists. An ANC ward secretary in Mpumalanga. All killed in last 4 weeks. We are seeing 80s People's War levels of Violence in South Africa now. youtu.be/Wc3R4Zs-kIE?si=oGlm…

BizNews - Alec Hogg: “Brutal reading. Necessary.” Masterbond, 1991: R595m lost, mostly pensioners, 16 suicides by one count. BHI, 2023: R1.5bn+, retirees again. In between came King I–V and FICA. Gatekeepers still pay less for failure than pensioners do. biznews.com/rational-perspec…
