Kudos to 2 restaurants for their amazing meals this week. Carlisle’s Barbecue -delicious sauce plus everything from smoked turkey salad to banana pudding. And Paramount with the best tasting burger in town along with the steak wedge salad. Tomorrow is Ted’s!
Was at both the women’s and men’s game. Talent level seems to be high and deep.
SAMFORD BASKETBALL IS HERE.
Samford preseason #4 in the SoCon.
Shoutout the dozens of students that showed up. Cade Norris, Cooper Noard, Ty Davis worth checking out in Homewood. 🔥
Untold: Bucky McMillan youtu.be/XJUV61hIvzc?is=_4fG… via @YouTube If I were an AD of any high school or college, I would insist every basketball coach on staff watch this interview which is a guidebook on the people part of coaching. So well done.
Samford Xfer Dylan Faulkner had a 16-11 double-double for Clemson on 7 for 8 shooting in win over Stetson. espn.com/mens-college-basket…
I praise any DEM or GOP who stands up to their party for what they believe is right. Too many are gutless. To quote Minority Leader Schumer, your reaction is despicable.
Haley Stevens is a political hero. She has principles and would not sacrifice them for party loyalty. I am a conservative Dem and Minority Leader’s description of her announcement she is voting Republican is a betrayal and contradictory to what he wants GOP to do re 45/47.
I know very little about soccer (even though I did write a book about it) . What I do know is the coach is super elite to have that consistency. Kudos to Bob Roller for hiring him and to the next guy for keeping him! samfordsports.com/news/2002/…
One of the top podcasts ever. Like sports it transcends across racial lines. As a huge baseball fan for most of my life, his retro guests are amazing with great stories. Matt Barnes is a top-notch interviewer podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…
I love Keyshawn. His analysis is entertaining and hip eloquent Disappointed when the podcast was over. Similar to Howard Stern you can’t wait too hear what he says next. Plus Matt Barnes is a to-notch interviewer podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…
…and rich
The wrong quarterback is famous! Florida backup Tramell Jones Jr. badly outplays overhyped Texas golden boy Arch Manning. Here's my column on the Gators' stunning victory over the Longhorns: orlandosentinel.com/2026/10/…
Nothing impresses me more in this sport than saving match points, especially on the road. I saw it happen 2X by the Dogs last night in the deciding set and I believe I heard the broadcasters say we saved 4 more in the 4th set? Fun team to watch.

Since when is it ok to address someone as a dirtbag in Congress or u make me want to throw up in my mouth. Great for our youth to hear it from our Senators. Pitiful that it is acceptable behavior. I don’t care what side of the aisle u stand. Show some class.
People who have known me well the last 50 years are aware why this interview is so meaningful to me. After living in Austin attending grad school, Willie Nelson & his music became a part of my life. Kaitlin Collins is my TV news GOAT facebook.com/share/v/1KJ5zXR…
