What a surprise. Guess what BC, this means they are going to say the budget is too messed to keep their campaign promises.
.@LDoerkson said today interest payments are "choking the economy" & commits to an independent investigation into BC's finances. Said the $1B accounting error by the @bcndp has him "terrified" at what else they might discover.

The government's own $2 million review said AHS spends less on management than other provinces. So the government fired the AHS board. Fired it again. Split AHS into four agencies. Split the Health Minister's job into four. Yes, I got lost there too. My goodness. Here's what happened. In order. With the quotes. AHS: FROM THE BEGINNING, Part C

UPDATE: The controversial hepatitis B vaccine trial backed by RFK Jr. will NOT proceed. Guinea-Bissau has formally rejected the proposed U.S.-funded study involving 14,000 newborns, following months of international criticism over its scientific justification and ethical implications. The trial would have randomly assigned half the infants to receive the hepatitis B vaccine at birth, while the remaining half would receive it at six weeks, consistent with the country’s existing vaccination schedule. The investigators wanted to examine possible “nonspecific effects” of vaccination, including health outcomes unrelated to hepatitis B infection. But there was a fundamental ethical problem. We already know that administering hepatitis B vaccine shortly after birth substantially reduces mother-to-child transmission. The WHO estimates that the birth dose prevents 70–95% of these infections. And approximately 90% of infants infected around birth develop chronic hepatitis B, placing them at lifelong risk of cirrhosis and liver cancer. The researchers argued that no child would receive less than the existing national standard of care. That distinction matters. But the WHO countered that resource constraints do not justify withholding a proven preventive intervention in a research experiment, particularly without a compelling scientific rationale. On October 16, Guinea-Bissau’s government formally rejected the study. Researchers subsequently confirmed that it would not proceed. No children had been enrolled. This is about something larger than RFK Jr. or any particular vaccine. Scientific curiosity is essential. Investigating unexpected effects of medical interventions is legitimate. But research involving human participants must satisfy ethical standards that extend beyond whether an interesting question remains unanswered. The burden is on investigators to demonstrate that a study’s scientific value justifies its risks—not on vulnerable participants to bear those risks simply because researchers want answers. That principle deserves defending, regardless of who funds the research.

Meet Richard Channing “Chan” Shealy, a prominent South Carolina worship pastor and Christian musician who used his religious platform to hide a horrific reality. Note that he is not trans or an immigrant...just another white Christian southern man. For years, Shealy led congregations in praise at local churches and spoke to youth groups, cultivating an image of a trusted faith leader. State and federal prosecutors have completely shattered that facade, leveling dozens of catastrophic charges against him involving the severe sexual abuse of young children and the production of explicit material. The horror began unraveling on March 26, 2026, when Shealy was hit with an initial 13 state felony counts for child sexual exploitation. Following the arrest, his wife, Elizabeth “Beth” Shealy—the sitting Vice Chair of the Lexington One School Board—resigned from her position on March 29, 2026. Rather than denouncing the horrific allegations, local reporting noted her social media response framed the child sex crimes as merely acts orchestrated by “Satan,” initially continuing to tag and support him online. The factual allegations detail a dark history spanning more than two decades. On May 1, 2026, state prosecutors added 20 more counts, including first-degree criminal sexual conduct and lewd acts upon a child. The official warrants allege that the former minister's physical abuse targeted victims as young as 5 to 8 years old, with offenses dating back to a period between 2004 and 2006. The nightmare deepened in October 2026 when a federal grand jury indicted the former worship leader on nine federal counts. Federal investigators tracked his digital footprint, accusing him of using peer-to-peer networks to distribute horrific imagery to an undercover agent in February 2026, with digital evidence of explicit production tying directly back to the exact timeframe of his initial pastoral-era offenses from 2004 to 2006. Now stripped of his freedom and held without bond in a detention center, the former minister faces a dual-track prosecution from state and federal authorities. If convicted, the mountain of evidence and severity of the charges could put the 54-year-old former pastor behind bars for the rest of his natural life.

facts. Immigrants make up 1 in 4 health care workers in Canada, and 37% of our physicians (Statistics Canada, 2021 Census). Today I sat with a DNA specialist working on breast cancer, which touches 1 in 8 Canadian women, and with an obstetrician from Nigeria who arrived just two years ago. They are here caring for our mothers, sisters and daughters. They did not take anyone's place. They work side by side with Canadian-born colleagues to fill roles we urgently need filled. Every one of them, wherever they were born, deserves our respect and our gratitude.

You typed all that to sound smart. Youre a fucking retard to deny us what we see in real life. Indians suck. Theyll ruin Canada as they have ruined India. God you cunts are killing our nation's with your suicidal empathy.

TRUMP’S TRADE DEAL LET AN AMERICAN COMPANY IMPORT CANADIAN CHEESE DUTY-FREE. NOW HE’S TAXING IT 50%. And the company is suing him. Gellert Global Group, a third-generation American family business, imports specialty cheeses from Canada. Some are made using milk supplied by American dairy farmers in New York. The milk crosses into Canada, becomes cheese, and returns to American consumers. Under Trump’s own USMCA trade agreement, the company previously imported qualifying cheese duty-free. Now it faces a 50% tariff imposed under a separate, Depression-era law. In one documented shipment, Gellert says it paid more than $60,000 in tariffs on approximately $120,000 worth of cheese. The company estimates the duties could cost it $40 million annually. Consider the economics. American farmers supply the milk, Canadian workers make the cheese, and American businesses import and sell it. Washington then imposes an enormous tax on that supply chain, supposedly to protect American economic interests. When protecting American industry means taxing American businesses for products made partly from American agricultural output, who exactly is being protected?

One of the world's biggest cancer conferences is happening right now. Here are 5 breakthroughs they're talking about: 1. The world's leading cause of cancer death (lung cancer) now has a therapy that cut the risk of death by 58%, moving median survival from 12.7 to 21.1 months (small cell lung cancer). 2. A new personalized therapy for Melanoma can train the immune system in cancer patients and alongside a common cancer med, it cut the risk of recurrence or death by 42%. 3. A therapy has been FDA approved to allow certain people with a subset of rectal cancers to skip chemo, radiation, and surgery. Around half of patients so far were cancer free over a year later. Colorectal cancer is the deadliest cancer in Americans under 50. 4. Chinese researchers presented data on a new therapy for breast cancer where it more than doubled the time before the cancer began to worsen. 5. Another huge therapy saw median survival increase by almost 50% in a specific mutated type of lung cancer, while also lowering decreasing severe side effects. (NSCLC type) See sources below.
