I am so excited to finally share "I'm a Neutrino"! Featuring modern physics experiments beautifully illustrated by my mother, Ilze Lemesis. She inspired me to pursue my #STEM dreams growing up, now I aspire to encourage kids to do the same. Cute neutrino story time, here we come!
Before you finish reading this sentence, trillions of neutrinos will have passed through your body. I'M A NEUTRINO by @EveVavagiakis and Ilze Lemesis uses rhyming text and watercolor art to explain these tiny particles to small readers! Coming spring 2022.

.@DrEsquivelPhD that is actually one of the most important themes in our report. We're glad it resonates with you!

“One of my favorite themes of the @AIP_TEAMUP report is the moving away from this mentality of fixing the Black student and moving towards fixing the broken institutions that aren't supporting the Black student,” Jessica says. /12

Earth’s magnetic field protects our planet from the worst space radiation — but its quirks also create a magnetic highway that funnels some of these charged particles towards Earth. 🛣💥 Scientists used NASA data to map this charged-particle highway: go.nasa.gov/3tsz92I

I asked my class if this semester was better or worse than last. Overwhelming majority said that this semester was worse. Guess my cats are going to make a lot of appearances during lecture this term.
