Good news everybody, you’re all employed through Christmas
🚨BREAKING: It's over. Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince told Reuters he knows of additional severe vulnerabilities in other pieces of critical software that are currently being patched, beyond the PHP flaws that disrupted government websites this week. Prince predicts busy months ahead as AI surfaces long-hidden weaknesses in the 'fabric of the internet': 'every single week it's going to feel like the sky is falling.'

Gets unmanaged VPS and then complains they need to manage it.
Did anyone expect @GoDaddy to do right during the PHP2Shell crisis? A client who manages their own VPS but is on vacation just got this message. GoDaddy refuses to install the patch for them. Despicable.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
GoDaddy requires self-managed VPS customers to install their own patches including PHP updates per their policies while handling managed plans themselves. The message shown matches this guidance for unmanaged VPS. godaddy.com/help/patch-my-… godaddy.com/help/statement… x.com/GoDaddyPro/sta…

Everybody needs to chill and just stay on top of it for now. Consider the influx of security vulnerabilities undisclosed backlog. Use the same tools that are accelerating discovery to fix it.

Frontier labs and their safeguards proving once again they cannot be trusted in a security incident.
Railway has been turbo pwned, I'm freaking out because hackers have access to decrypted ENV variables and I asked Claude to help but- NOPE. NOT CLAUDE. The most dangerous part of this ecosystem is @anthropic and their ridiculous moralizing.

UPDATE: Specific mitigation guidance for the recently identified PHP critical vulnerabilities is now available. Secure your servers today. Guidance and technical steps here: nsa.gov/Press-Room/Press-Rel…
Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.

A decent law would require cancellation of plans on auto renew if that price is no longer available and it’s only gone up. It would either grandfather customers in it require a company to think through seriously the need for higher rates.
Why do we allow companies to just raise subscription prices on us out of the blue? They aren’t doing it because they are losing money. They are just feeding the pockets of their greedy executives and elite stockholders. Time to cancel my subscription.

It’s crazy to me that you could theoretically add some post processing to a real feed, tell everybody they’re cloud gaming, and your only bottleneck would be the number of drones you could produce as gamers “play a game”
Ukrainian-developed FPV drone simulator “Remote Reaper: FPV Drone” has officially left Early Access, with version 1.0 now available on Steam. Developed in collaboration with military pilots, the simulator focuses on combat FPV drone operations and introduces several features in its full release, including armored vehicles with modeled vulnerable zones, electronic warfare effects that can disrupt video feeds and control signals during the final stage of an attack, and a customizable drone editor. Version 1.0 also adds configurable weather conditions, custom mission editing, real-time flights with other pilots and a racing mode. Players can use FPV hardware or a gamepad with realistic flight physics, or opt for simplified controls using a keyboard and mouse. #RemoteReaper #FPV #FPVDrone #DroneSimulator
