We are thrilled that Mubarak Bala has arrived safely in Germany after spending nearly five years unjustly imprisoned in Nigeria.
Mubarak is a courageous advocate for the freedom of religion or belief who can now practice his advocacy without fear of reprisal.
We thank @HumanistsInt, @freedomnoworg, and our other partners for their efforts to secure Mubarak's freedom.

But this day cannot go without us highlighting the oppression queer Ghanaians are facing currently.
