1 year ago I hated being on stage, never performed, and did everything in my power to never have to perform. Now I’m apart of one of the top performing ensembles in Chicago and was chosen for a solo in our final medley. Couldn’t be more grateful for everything I do online & irl

this person connected me with a CEO who they worked with before & i had a great convo with him he did the exact same thing i was doing for the IG agency but for me had lots of insights that i didn’t think about, learned some new things about biz, have some new questions to ask others in the future funniest part abt the meeting to me was the IG agency owner was there too since they knew each other. afterwards they said “you literally did the same thing to me” that’s what those convos are, you learn about the biz, bring your knowledge in, & give suggestions/advice on how to improve. that’s part of what i enjoy with everything i do. makes me learn & improve a ton.
i had a meeting with someone who runs a marketing agency focused on instagram at the end of last week. i asked them things like, "what does your content process look like?" & "how do you onboard clients?" they had very unorganized answers for everything i asked. the main thing i was told was they are scaling too quickly & cant keep up. so i told them this: "figure out your systems first." i wanted to sugarcoat it, but with the state their company was in, i just couldnt. its literally the first things i tell people. i dont be making this shit up. not enough people running businesses know its really what makes or breaks a company.

here's why how we operate works so well: @StayKazed gets deep into learning everything about the next venture & how we can turn it into a revenue generating stream asap. while hes doing that, im building out the systems so we can properly scale & operate the entire department flawlessly. lots happening at once. no one beats us.
I've been clipping for a good friend of mine as an expirement. This account was made like two days ago. There are a ton of clipping platforms out there. You get to choose who you clip for, & you get paid pretty well per thousand views when you consider how much easier it is to get views on short-form content. I don't want to sound like everyone else, but it looks like there really is a lot of money to be made with clipping.

had a call with a company today & they use something that i thought was so sick its a virtual office, but its not just a normal thing with rooms/calls & chats, its way cooler its a full on video game. you customize a little character, you walk around a virtual office space with personalized desks, meeting rooms, fun pictures, & you can talk with your coworkers if you're in close enough proximity we use discord daily at bloxi & it doesnt make sense to move over (unless.......), but this thing was so fun, i think more companies that are fully online should consider it like look at this dude. i just had to screenshot my guy cuz it was so funny but so sick this platform is called gather!

this is great to see since it'll open the door for a lot more people to actually start making content since they can get paid sooner. once more people are creating they’re gonna need distribution and should take advantage of it while they’re still growing. at bloxi it costs $0 to start working with us so people can get their content distributed right away instead of figuring it out on their own.
YouTube is testing a $20 payment threshold (instead of $100) for some creators in the USA, India, and Indonesia. Creators will receive a notification if they are part of the experiment.

ive been told school is a waste of time by a handful of people, which i find kinda funny, but i very much disagree (i also just dont hate school). im doing a project in class where we work with an actual client. wasn’t anything to do with youtube or content, just an analysis & data collection essentially. while going through their stuff i realized how much data they had sitting there that they weren’t even looking at. immediately made me think about how we do stuff at bloxi. we’re always looking at youtube numbers, rpms, avd, rev, whatever, but there’s always other things outside of youtube that we don’t dig into as much as i thought. as soon as i got home i started pulling a couple of the things i just saw in class. already changed how i’m looking at it & gave me a clearer picture on some theories i had weeks prior. school keeps giving me these random angles & i just end up using them the same day.

what i also appreciate about this guy is even though he’s a professor, he doesn’t sugarcoat stuff. i asked for feedback on something, he asked me a few questions, looked at what i had, & just told me what to fix & why. 5 minute convo. didn’t pull the “this is a great start” or some other bs, just was straight up. that to me is so small but so valuable whenever i talk with people about biz.
ive mentioned this before, but im not studying anything to do with social media or ai in school, yet the things im talking about in class are giving me so many ideas for things. literally randomly reached out to a professor to chat & now i go to him for tons of advice on stuff related to things im working on. every conversation i have with people gives me new ideas that im executing on. didnt think there was this much crossover with what im learning to what im doing with everything i have my hands in, but its honestly great that its happening & im realizing it.

over the past few days, i’ve been working on a few different things. i sat down last night & said to myself “the system works when i do this manually, now let me automate it” i’ve said it before, but if your system can’t run manually, you shouldn’t figure out how to automate it. figure out your system, then add the automations to make it faster & more efficient.

seeing everything at the mobile lan makes me rlly miss fortnite man. i said this for globals, but even with the small playerbase mobile has, with it having a full broadcast & some of the guys making content, there are so many ways they coulda distributed it that they could capitalize on & they just aren’t. more people need to realize the benefits of content creation.

i just got outta class & one of the things they talked abt today was AI use. they mentioned how they saw meta was selling some new model to track data or something (im kinda paraphrasing). heres the thing about ai though, you can just build anything yourself at this point. if you sit down & just figure out how to get from point A to B, learn about how to wire the entire backend, i promise you can just build it yourself. then i got asked "what do you even mean 'build it yourself'?" to which i said "have an idea, ask AI (i use claude), & just do it. it isnt rocket science anymore" the reason i got so many funny looks is bc what im studying, they are against AI in many ways, but in reality, there are so many use cases it can be beneficial to use. i almost can promise learning AI will be a needed skill for any job in the future & from the few conversations ive had, just by doing the work ive done with it so far, im miles ahead of everyone. we've got tons of projects in the works at bloxi bc of what is possible with AI. learn it & you will see the benefit.

this just proves itself more everyday literally my production network has let me meet even more people who i would never have met otherwise. same with business. emailed one guy, that turned into meeting dozens more. even do it through X or linkedin, same concept. follow / connect & slide a dm. simple as that. idk if this is the saying, but your network is truly your networth (sum like that lol)
too many people dont realize the power of their network & everytime i look through my contacts, it always reminds me. in the past 48 hrs, ive texted a ton of people that i know in every kind of industry about a new offer that we're building out. every single one said they might know someone, or has some incentive to connect me with people. they didnt need to do this at all, but the relationships ive built with them are the reason they feel inclined to help (that & maybe a small incentive, but its a select few who needed that bump). your relationships with those in your network are so vital to your success in anything & you never know when it may come into play.

this is what happens when you distribute your content on multiple platforms you make extra income. do it with us & you don’t even need to lift a finger
"Gaming channels only get $4-$5 RPMs" Then why does mine have $30?

doing bullsh*t marketing wont get you anywhere. there are tons of businesses that are b2c that suck at marketing. there's even more businesses that do b2b & they are worse. garnering attention is huge. utilize your team. they definitely have things they can post about that take no longer than 1 hr a day to schedule. a company will grow exponentially doing this.

as im writing this, i just got home from an event & it truly brought my passion for something back. wasn't gonna even go to this event until a friend of mine said i should go. so i went & boy am i glad i did. just by connecting with people who have similar interests & having an enjoyable experience, i've never been more passionate about locking in & doing the thing. go to events, network, & it will be the most valuable things ever.

theres only a handful of businesses that i know of that do this. every single one has insane X pressence & are constantly bringing in leads. its not rocket science.
im now realizing how terrible most businesses are at marketing. bloxi 10x'd in clientele once we recognized the value of mass distribution marketing. everytime we jump in a sales call now, we ask "what made you reach out to us?", & almost every single one has said "you guys kept coming on my feed" businesses need to realize this & take advantage now.

personal accounts posting 2–3x a day generated us more leads than every company/brand campaign we ran. why? bc people connect with humans better than a company & also bc if someone sees you as an industry leader, they are more likely to want to work with you on said thing. im realizing not enough b2b companies do this. they keep spending money on getting posts out for the company page & wonder why they get nowhere.

this is why i love talking with people who run other businesses. it lets me see where there are opportunities to create new service offers. actually taking action on this & giving it a go since there seems to be a huge gap in the market for the piece they are missing. we’ll see where it goes.
so this COO told me he's trying something out for their business & gave me all his reasons why he thinks its a good idea. i straight up said "that wont do you any good. you're missing a whole piece of this puzzle" & gave him some insight on it. whats funny about this is it's actually my AI client that im still doing work with. they keep wanting me to put my knowledge & understanding of AI into different aspects of their business, even though im no professional developer. i just operate a distribution company. completely different market than what they do. will be curious if they take what i said & run with it, or try without first. maybe ill consult for them? who knows. idk, kinda thought dumping, but also interesting to think a client who i hit up randomly hit up, im now doing work with more than i originally thought.
