Today, the Lviv Philharmonic performed for the first time since the invasion—with refugees from across Ukraine joining the orchestra! It was streamed online, as the concert hall is now a warehouse for medical supplies that go to hospitals. Like food, music to nourish the soul! 🇺🇦

Mary Anne Dell'Aquila describes a favorite Yuletide tradition of the second violins, as they (and the rest of the orchestra) join the cast to sing We Wish You A Merry Christmas at the end of every performance. Enjoy this singing and Glad Tidings!

Principal bassoonist Ivy Ringel and her family often do all of their decorating and wrapping at the last minute, so we placed her near the end of advent. She and the bassoon section perform her original arrangement of White Christmas in this video!
