POV: it's 2027
You set a grokbot routine for your car to pick your kids up from school at 2pm and took them to Grandma's house.
Then 2 hrs later, as it picks up your wife from work, grok comes on and reminds her about her hair appointment but warns her about heavy rain
Cybercab is the only one not blocking the road
The real reason xAI and Spacex merged

Pretty much.
As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers.
SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue.
That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.
Why do people have such a myopic understanding of marketing.
If Tesla is currently "selling FSD with car attached" then sales will exponentially skyrocket he when there's million Tesla Cybercabs driving around
Let's say less than 5% of U.S. citizens knows about FSD right now,
With 24/7 autonomous billboards driving around, saying " TESLA CARS OF ANY MODEL CAN DRIVE THEMSELVES WITH ZERO CONCERN FOR ACCIDENTS" that percentage will skyrocket, and so will sales.
Elon always delivers the pizza 2 hrs late but it's never cold

I’m not. Will use SpaceX cold gas thruster system with ultra high pressure air in a composite over-wrapped pressure vessel in place of the 2 rear seats.
When Tesla Robotaxi goes live in Vegas, imagine how insane it would be to take a Cybercab from the airport into a Boring Tunnel underground that goes directly to your hotel room.
The Boring Factory floor is a great classroom! The @uaustinorg Applied Engineering class, taught by TBC engineers, currently has students competing in teams to design and build rovers to tackle an obstacle course.
"Give my AI a picture of your credit card" is a weird pitch
To buy stuff, you can just take a picture of your credit card, drop it in the chat and Grok @Bot will scour the Internet for the best deal on the item you want and order it
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
xAI explicitly warns users not to include personal information in prompts, yet credit card photos may contain such information.
Grok Bot's terms state that user data and credentials may be stored in its cloud environment and require human review for financial transactions.

Wait, has anyone created their own Banish with this?
"Hey grok, find a parking spot when I get out of the car"
That doesn't sound hard at all actually

SpaceX just successfully launched 3 Falcon rockets in under 13 hours on the SAME Calender day! 🚀🔥
This marks the first time SpaceX completed 3 Falcon missions on the same day!
Many congrats Falcon Teams! 🫡

Sonnet 5.5 improves on Sonnet 5 across benchmarks, in some cases dramatically.
It’s a faster, lower-cost complement to Claude Opus 5.5, strongest at well-scoped everyday tasks, fixing bugs, and creating polished documents, slides, and spreadsheets.
Better comparison:
They launched the equivalent of 10 Falcon 9s worth of satellites today
Next time they fly it will be 23 falcon 9s worth
SpaceX added ~1% to global internet bandwidth with today's Starship launch.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This only increased the global *satellite* capacity by 1%, not the entire world including terrestrial network capacity
