Congrats @OrbitalOps_ and cofounders @BenSchleuniger and Ross Doherty on being awarded up to $35M by the Department of War to demonstrate Astraeus, its cryogenic-powered spacecraft, at full scale in orbit. They’re tackling one of space's biggest challenges by developing technology for greater maneuverability and longer operations in orbit. Time to go make history in orbit. Sustained maneuver is the number one problem in national security space. Today the Department of War has funded @OrbitalOps_ to go demonstrate our Astraeus platform at full scale.
Department of War awarded Orbital Operations $35M to demonstrate Astraeus in orbit. A full vehicle scale demo of high thrust propulsion and active refrigeration for long duration storage of cryogenic propellants. Exclusive from @Payloadspace: payloadspace.com/exclusive-d…

The C-130 Hercules aircraft and variants have hauled cargo, flown as gunships, and refueled military jets midair. Now, @OrbitalOps_ wants to do the same in space. The startup won up to $35M from the Pentagon to fly a full-scale, in-orbit demo of Astraeus—its cryogenic-maneuvering vehicle. “Space is now a contested environment,” Orbital Ops CEO Benjamin Schleuniger told @vicky_woodburn. “We’re going into this new space age where there’s all these new orbits and all of these new ideas coming around…we just need more dynamic assets out there to transport things around.” Read the full story for the inside look at Astraeus and why its capabilities are more timely than ever. ⬇️

Switching AI coding models can take 34 minutes. @cedanacorp cuts it to ~1, without losing work. In a blog co-written with @nvidia, @neelmaster and Niranjan Ravichandra show how companies can run multiple AI coding models on a single GPU server, switching between them as needed. The result? Less idle hardware, less wasted computing power, and more output from every GPU. cedana.com/blog/coding-model…

We led @goformic’s seed round in 2021 and have backed @samanfarid and team as they’ve scaled to 100+ U.S. manufacturing facilities, with 99.6% uptime and a 97% renewal rate. Now, with $50M in new funding, Formic is taking another big step toward bringing physical AI to factory floors at scale. Congrats!

Everyone wants to show robot demos. —- some of us ship robots to customers on a daily basis. —- physical AI isn’t coming - ITS HERE. Still lots of unsolved problems in robotics, but the fundamentals are in place. We felt like this was the right time to raise a bit more capital to fund the next phase of task expansion and deployment.

Last week we teamed up with @Picogrid to host 100+ partners and friends at Death & Co during AUSA 2026. "The Connected Battlefield" brought together the people helping Picogrid get better technology into the hands of service members. Great to connect with so many of them in person. Thanks to Picogrid, @SVDG_official, @CooleyLLP, and everyone else who joined us! @kimmaicutler

More enterprises are running a portfolio of models. Easy tasks go to smaller, cheaper models, while frontier models take the hard tail. Hosting that portfolio is a GPU utilization problem. The models don't fit on a single node together, and 9-34 min cold starts make switching between them impractical. Excited to show our work with NVIDIA's Dynamo team. We show how to serve a portfolio of frontier coding models on a single 8x B200 node, switching models in ~1 minute with in-flight sessions intact. cedana.com/blog/coding-model…

Greptile has raised a $50M Series B led by Menlo Ventures. The round values the company at $750M. Greptile reviews and tests more than 1% of all PRs opened on GitHub every day. Thousands of engineering teams including Nvidia, Coinbase, Decagon, and Vanta use Greptile as their independent and central validation layer. Fewer than 50 people, we are a small, talent-dense team of engineers and researchers in a quiet corner of San Francisco. If you’re interested in joining us, we’d love to hear from you.
