Everyone wants to show robot demos. —- some of us ship robots to customers on a daily basis. —- physical AI isn’t coming - ITS HERE. Still lots of unsolved problems in robotics, but the fundamentals are in place. We felt like this was the right time to raise a bit more capital to fund the next phase of task expansion and deployment.
Formic raised $50M in Series B funding.
100+ facilities. 30+ states. 99.6% uptime. Now scaling physical AI onto real factory floors.

Better product data. Smarter search. More intelligent AI agents. 🧠✨
With Velou now part of Algolia, we're bringing richer product intelligence to search, recommendations, and AI shopping experiences.
Same APIs. Same integrations. Smarter discovery ⤵️

More enterprises are running a portfolio of models. Easy tasks go to smaller, cheaper models, while frontier models take the hard tail.
Hosting that portfolio is a GPU utilization problem. The models don't fit on a single node together, and 9-34 min cold starts make switching between them impractical.
Excited to show our work with NVIDIA's Dynamo team. We show how to serve a portfolio of frontier coding models on a single 8x B200 node, switching models in ~1 minute with in-flight sessions intact.

Greptile has raised a $50M Series B led by Menlo Ventures. The round values the company at $750M.
Greptile reviews and tests more than 1% of all PRs opened on GitHub every day. Thousands of engineering teams including Nvidia, Coinbase, Decagon, and Vanta use Greptile as their independent and central validation layer.
Fewer than 50 people, we are a small, talent-dense team of engineers and researchers in a quiet corner of San Francisco. If you’re interested in joining us, we’d love to hear from you.
BCI is a wrong target.
Computers are no longer keyboard, mouse and screen, but AI agents working for you.
The right target is a Brain AI interface.

In the ever-wise words of @packyM, electromagnetism secretly runs the world.
And this startup is trying to wield it to build more elite hardware - from fighter jets to satellites to microchips.

While the industry chased demo hype, @samanfarid and the team at @goformic understood that the robots that matter aren’t doing backflips, they’re delivering 24/7 capacity and 99%+ uptime, turning chronic labor shortages into industrial growth across 150+ US factories 🇺🇸 🏭.
Loved gathering the @LorimerVentures community at @goformic’s new factory for #SFTechWeek to celebrate this huge milestone for American reindustrialization.
Special shoutout to our co-hosts: @lavanyaai from @improbabilityvc & @BlackhornVC.

Working with @physical_int, we are bringing general purpose robotics models into the places that need them most —- the factories that make things we all need and use. 150 factories using Formic robots and counting!
On Friday, Founder and CEO @typesfast joined @BloombergTV to explain how AI is reshaping global logistics. He also covered our latest technology release, what’s moving diesel prices, and where freight costs stand today.

Training for Heaviside-2 is already underway, and we're excited to support far-field predictions in our next model release.
Far fields describe how a device radiates into the world; where an antenna sends its energy, how strongly, and in which directions. Today, simulating far fields means running a full-wave solver for every design change.
Heaviside will change that. More news coming soon!
just think.

Rippling has been named the Next Big Thing in Tech.
"[Rippling's] agentic prowess stems from having access to the native data structures, context, and controls defined within a company. That creates outputs that reflect the actual state of a business, helping humans in these roles focus on more strategic tasks".
This list, curated by Fast Company, spotlights the companies building breakthrough products in their industries with momentum to last years.
And that’s exactly what we’ve been doing.

The physical AI revolution will start in space for two reasons:
1. The problem space is bounded. Spacecraft are complex and dynamic, but Solo reasons across a known physical system, with defined hardware and telemetry, governed by physics, and a finite set of rules and possible actions.
2. The training data is organically generated as part of the spacecraft build process. And not just that – conditions that can't easily be reproduced physically are already simulated in test. With our hardware-in-the-loop testbed, we subject hardware to edge cases and anomalies and see how it responds.
