Landed in Columbus.
Guy at the rental counter - “what are you in town for?”
Me - “the football game!”
Him - “ah, bummer. We’re not very good this year.”
So this is what it’s like when (#12!!) Ohio State loses 2 games before November for the first time in 15 years.

The Giants have offered a 2027 2nd + 2028 2nd for Jonathan Taylor.
The Colts continue to hold out for additional compensation from New York, most likely their 2027 3rd as well.
New York is far and away the most aggressive team remaining in pursuit of Taylor.

although I do not personally want him back on the team, I would still rather have a Cousins reunion than a Jones reunion

The Vikings would owe less than $1 million in dead cap charges, if they traded for Daniel Jones and released him before March 15th.
The Colts already paid a massive signing bonus for Jones, and there’s a vesting option to escape his contract by the fifth day of the league year.

Significant victory here for the NCAA in the class-action federal lawsuit that had granted a fifth year of eligibility to athletes in the 2022 high school class.
The NCAA appealed and won.
NEWS: The Tenth Circuit has REVERSED and VACATED the nationwide preliminary injunction in Wisne v. NCAA, issuing a published opinion in the 5-for-5 eligibility litigation.
The injunction had already been stayed since August 21, and following oral arguments that appeared to go poorly for the plaintiffs, this outcome was largely expected.
The three-judge panel concluded that the plaintiffs failed to establish a legally supportable antitrust labor market encompassing all Division I sports.
Importantly, the court did NOT decide whether the NCAA's exclusion of the Class of 2022 is ultimately lawful, nor did it address whether NCAA eligibility rules are exempt from antitrust scrutiny.
