Hah and people say Wally is the more likable Flash. 🤣
Uncanny Cassandra 🏳️‍⚧️@UncannySp1der8h
In all honesty this arc has transformed from a fun if not lacking arc into essentially a mini Civil War 2 in which Wally somehow can't see the flaw in his actions but I'm supposed to see a real argument here?

Whilst the speed force wasn't named until Waid. It technically speaking did orignate in the silver age. All Waid did was actually name and explore the force.
Fruit3eater@2dragonfruit10h
The speed force originated in a Wally west run thanks to Max Mercury. But bc of the CW everyone think the speed force first came in with Barry Allen.

I really like Barry being a scientist and I think that aspect could lead to a lot of really cool high concept adventures. More like Star Trek or Doctor Who where we follow this genius testing the limits of what's possible.

this isn't me trying to start a debate. i'm genuinely asking bc i'm curious is there actually any reason to prefer barry as the main flash over wally??? like, what is there to explore with him that you can't do with wally??? if you say speed force i'll destroy y'all

also, sorry, a character doesnt need anything new to explore to make them interesting. these characters are old and mostly fully developed ( although id argue there IS stuff with barry to do, especially since reboots ). sometimes we just want them around and continuing to do -

He explores science fiction in a way wally cannot. As his back ground with science is infinitely better. He can also tell justice stories and detective stories way better. Barry is a better character. With better dynamics. And a better flash.

Sidenote, I wonder if we'll ever meet Ace's mum. Like we know literally nothing about her other than that she wasn't there. Is she dead? Did she run away after he was born? What happened to her?

Barry becoming the 2nd Flash.

Cap thing got me wondering. Has there ever been a superhero passing the mantle that was universally well received? Peter -> Ben & Miles as Spider-Man has been bumpy. Steve -> Sam as Cap too. I think Terry as Batman is the only one everyone liked. Idk why though.

I find it so funny that there are certain Wally West fans out there who genuinely think that Barry fans suck when so many of them act like this (thankfully comic geeks removed this awful comment, but still this shit should not be happening ever)

The part of the featurette at the end where Sauron say "ash nazg gimbatul" is insane. I got complete goosebumps when I watched it, I can't believe we're actually going to hear the black speech for the first time.

Probably Luke show but I'd love all of these. Although I want a Rey show set in between the sequels movie (probably more TLJ and TROS)
Luke - I ❤️ STAR WARS@lukesoutpostOct 25
You can only choose 1 out of these for 4 animated Star Wars projects for Lucasfilm to produce: • Luke Skywalker & the Rebellion • Darth Vader in his prime • ‘Heir to the Empire’ adaptation • General Grievous backstory Which one would you choose? ⬇️

TKO are literally going to send their wrestlers and crew (and any fans out there) to their deaths. Genuinely fuck them, they need to move this immediately
