Thailand’s Cabinet has approved a 72.6-billion-baht energy transition package, including a 50-billion-baht residential rooftop solar program that will allow households to sell surplus electricity to utilities for 2.20 baht per kilowatt-hour.
The initiative aims to accelerate the country’s shift to clean energy while reducing household electricity costs.

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026)
Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love.
We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway.
America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire.
His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen.

One thing I loved about Friday the 13th (2009) was how sneaky Jason could be.
You got this man standing on the roof watching everybody, then he's inside the house grabbing Bree and covering her mouth so nobody hears a thing.
How the hell does someone that big move around so quietly?
Hope we get more of this in Crystal Lake. That version of Jason was scary as hell.

What a sad life. Sabagay, mas madaling pagtawanan ang iba kaysa ma realize mong ikaw yung nakakatawa.

MARCOS ON WEAKENING PESO: ‘DON’T PANIC, WE HAVE THE MEANS TO DEFEND IT’
WATCH: President Bongbong Marcos urged Filipinos not to panic as the Philippine peso sank to a new record low of ₱64.17 against the US dollar on Tuesday, Oct. 27, breaching the ₱64 level for the first time.
Speaking to reporters at the New Bilibid Prison on Wednesday, Oct. 28, Marcos attributed the peso’s depreciation partly to rising global oil prices and a strengthening US dollar, assuring the public that the country’s foreign exchange reserves remained healthy.
“We have all the tools to defend the peso,” Marcos said, adding that the government was also working to bring down food prices amid inflationary pressures. | @TristanNodalo

most people in the country acknowledge this but they have this weird cognitive dissonance thing where they don't actually want to hold politicians accountable or criticize them in the slightest, regardless of which politicians they support (i.e. worship)
