Fidelity: two speakers, real stereo
Each speaker has its own dual-driver setup: a 4.5-inch aluminium woofer for the lows and mids, a 1-inch silk dome tweeter for the highs, and a front-facing bass port.
Because the left and right speakers sit apart, vocals land in the centre and instruments spread across the room. That sense of space is what a soundbar can't give you, and it's what Hi-Fi is really about.
There's plenty of power behind it. 100W sustained, 200W peak, reaching 105dB SPL at one metre. Loud enough to fill a large living room without straining. Bass reaches down to 35Hz at 80dB, so kick drums hit and movie scenes rumble, without a separate subwoofer.
We also cared about the parts you'll never see. Aura 5 plays lossless audio up to 24-bit/48kHz, and the DAC runs on its own isolated, low-noise power supply.

🚨 UPI-ல ₹2,000க்கு மேல Payment பண்ணினா இனிமே Charge வருமா?
October 15 முதல் UPI transactions-க்கு புதிய charges வரப்போகிறது என்ற செய்தியைப் பார்த்ததும்… “அடப்பாவிகளா… UPI-க்கும் Charge கொண்டு வந்துட்டாங்களா?” 😄 ன்னு நினைக்காதீங்க.
மேட்டர் அது இல்லை.
முதல்ல ஒரு முக்கியமான விஷயத்தை புரிஞ்சுக்கோங்க.
👉 நீங்க ஒரு Customer ஆ UPI மூலம் Payment பண்ணுவதற்கு எந்த Charge ம் கிடையாது. புதுசா வந்துருக்குறது MDR – Merchant Discount Rate.
அதாவது சில UPI payments க்கு Merchant / Business தான் இந்த charge அ கட்ட வேண்டும். Customer அல்ல.
சரி… என்ன மாறப்போகுது?
👨👩👧 ஒருத்தருக்கு ஒருத்தர் பணம் அனுப்புறீங்களா?
நண்பருக்கு ₹5,000 அனுப்புறீங்க. மனைவிக்கு ₹20,000 அனுப்புறீங்க. உங்களுடைய இன்னொரு Bank Account க்கு ₹50,000 transfer பண்ணுறீங்க. அதுக்கெல்லாம் Charge ₹0.
இதுக்கு பேரு Person-to-Person (P2P) transaction. Amount எவ்வளவாக இருந்தாலும் permitted limits (ஒரு நாளைக்கு ₹1,00,000) க்குள் P2P UPI transfer தொடர்ந்து Free.
🛒 Shop / Business-க்கு Payment?
இங்கதான் மாற்றம் வருகிறது. Normal Merchant UPI transaction ₹2,000க்கு மேல் இருந்தால்: MDR = 0.4% வரும்.
உதாரணமா:
₹3,000 Payment → MDR ₹12
₹50,000 Payment → MDR ₹200
₹75,000 மற்றும் அதற்கு மேல ன்னா - Maximum MDR = ₹300.
₹1 லட்சம் payment பண்ணினாலும் 0.4% கணக்கில் ₹400 வராது. Maximum ₹300 மட்டுமே.
ஆனா மறுபடியும் சொல்றேன்… இந்த பணத்தை Customer கொடுக்க வேண்டியதில்லை. Merchant தான் செலுத்த வேண்டும். Merchant இதை Customer மேல தனியாக UPI charge என்று போடவும் முடியாது.
🥬 சின்ன கடைக்காரர்களுக்கு என்ன ஆகும்?
இதுவும் முக்கியம். P2PM category ல் இருக்கும் small merchants, பொதுவாக மாதத்திற்கு ₹1 லட்சம் வரை UPI QR மூலம் பெறுபவர்கள், Zero MDR protection ல் தொடர்கிறார்கள்.
அதனால், ₹2,001 Payment வந்தாலே எல்லா கடைக்காரர்களுக்கும் Charge ன்னு புரிஞ்சிக்காதீங்க.
அப்படி கிடையாது.
📈 Mutual Fund / Shares வாங்க UPI பயன்படுத்தினால்?
இதுக்கு தனி rate. Mutual Funds, Securities, Stockbrokers போன்ற Capital Market transactions க்கு:
MDR = 0.02%
Maximum: ₹300 per transaction.
இதுவும் investor க்கு போடப்படும் charge அல்ல; applicable merchant/entity க்கான MDR - இந்த சார்ஜ் எல்லாம் Mutual fund ஓட expense ratio ல include ஆயிடும். Shares வாங்க நீங்க UPI பயன்படுத்தினா, இத கண்டிப்பா நீங்க தான் குடுத்தாவனும்.
💰 அப்போ SIP AutoPay க்கெல்லாம்?
இங்க ஒரு நல்ல செய்தி. UPI AutoPay / Mandate மூலம் செய்யப்படும் recurring payments - SIP எல்லாம் prescribed MDR charge க்கு கீழ வராது.
அதாவது உங்கள் monthly SIP AutoPay ல இந்த சார்ஜ் வரவே வராது.
🚆 Insurance, Fuel போன்ற Payments?
Railways, Telecom, Insurance, Fuel உள்ளிட்ட குறிப்பிட்ட categories க்கு ₹2,000க்கு மேல் payment பண்ணினா percentage கணக்குல MDR வராது. இதுக்கு Flat ஆ ₹5 MDR க்கு சார்ஜ் பண்ணுவாங்க.
Public utilities போன்ற designated categories க்கும் இந்த concessional ₹5 structure பொருந்தும். இதையும் Merchant தான் bear பண்ண வேண்டும். Customer அல்ல.
📱 Google Pay / PhonePe மாதிரி UPI Apps தனியா Platform Fee போடலாமா?
இந்த framework-ன் கீழ் UPI App providers, UPI payment-க்கு Platform Fee அல்லது வேறு payment charge போடக்கூடாது.
📅 இது எப்போலேர்ந்து பழக்கத்துக்கு வரும்?
இந்த புதிய MDR framework: 15 October 2026 முதல் அமலுக்கு வருகிறது.
🤔 அப்ப நமக்கு என்ன மாற்றம்?
நீங்க ஒரு சாதாரண UPI User என்றால்… பெரிய மாற்றம் எதுவும் இல்லை.
Friend-க்கு Money Transfer → FREE ✅
Family-க்கு Money Transfer → FREE ✅
Shop-ல் QR Scan செய்து Payment → Customer-க்கு FREE ✅
SIP via UPI AutoPay → prescribed MDR இல்லை ✅
₹2,000க்கு மேல் Merchant Payment → Customer-க்கு Charge இல்லை ✅
முக்கியமான விஷயம்…
News headline: “UPI payments above ₹2,000 will be charged.”
இதை மட்டும் படிச்சா, ₹5,000 UPI பண்ணினா என்னோட Account-லிருந்து extra charge போயிடுமா? ன்னு நினைக்கலாம்.
அதுதான் இல்லை.
சரியான புரிதல்: Selected Merchant UPI transactions above ₹2,000க்கு MDR வருகிறது. அதையும் Customer அல்ல, Merchant தான் செலுத்துகிறார்.
அதனால் October 15க்கு பிறகு ₹2,001 UPI Payment பண்ணும்போது… “ஐயையோ… Charge போயிடுமோ!”
