Criminals who threaten our communities will face justice, no matter where they run. “El Señor de la A,” a regional leader of La Línea, linked to the narco-terrorist group the New Juárez Cartel, was arrested in Chihuahua by Mexican authorities following military intelligence efforts and information sharing with U.S. agencies. He is wanted for extradition to the United States on drug trafficking and human smuggling charges.

Esta acción derivó de trabajos de inteligencia naval y como resultado se aseguraron 4 vehículos con reporte de robo, 3 armas largas, cargadores y municiones. Durante el enfrentamiento fallecieron 2 personas, cuya identidad podría corresponder a Jesús "N" (a) Chuy Peñuelas operador de 2do orden, solo por debajo de Fausto Isidro Meza Flores (a) Chapo Isidro, líder del Cartel de Guasave y Cesáreo "N", quedando pendiente la confirmación pericial.
Los indicios quedaron a disposición de la @FGRMexico para las investigaciones correspondientes.

En Zapopan, Jalisco, derivado de trabajos de inteligencia, elementos de @Defensamx1 y @GN_MEXICO_, en coordinación con la Agencia de Investigación Criminal de @FGRMexico, detuvieron a Luis Manuel “N”, alias “Ingeniero”, identificado como operador de un grupo delictivo y señalado como responsable del diseño y construcción de túneles transfronterizos utilizados para el tráfico de drogas hacia Estados Unidos, principalmente desde Tijuana, Baja California.
El detenido cuenta con cargos en San Diego, California, por conspiración para el tráfico de drogas. Durante la operación se aseguraron armas, droga y un vehículo.
Las instituciones del Gabinete de Seguridad mantienen acciones coordinadas para detener a operadores criminales, desarticular sus estructuras y debilitar sus capacidades logísticas y operativas.

Today, Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctioned nearly 50 targets who serve as leaders or facilitators for the Sinaloa Cartel. The 21 individuals and 25 entities designated include cartel leader Ismael Zambada Sicairos, members of his innermost circle, and the Tijuana-based cell leaders, money launderers, and corrupt politicians who permit the Sinaloa Cartel to operate with impunity just miles from the U.S.-Mexico border.

Today, under Operation Economic Outcast, Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctioned 10 individuals and entities in multiple jurisdictions that have procured weapons and weapons components for Iran’s Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics (MODAFL), the entity responsible for weapons research, production, and acquisition for Iran’s armed forces. MODAFL also oversees organizations engaged in the development of Iran’s ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
