If you'd like to support me (for free) you could help out by wishlisting All-in-1 on Steam. It's at 2,000 wishlists now but hoping to reach 5,000 or (even better) 10,000 before release! store.steampowered.com/app/4…

Or we can boycott AI data centers for ruining everything. Literally everything.
Microsoft has finally admitted why Windows 11 needs to use less RAM, and it comes down to something everyone buying a PC in 2026 already knows: memory is expensive again. Pavan Davuluri, Microsoft’s Windows chief, said it clearly: “I do think memory is top of mind for us right now in the industry, especially as we look at the rising cost of memory for computers across the board. For us, as a Windows team, we have clear efforts around driving better utilization of memory.” Microsoft has now made “memory optimization for 8GB and above” an official Windows priority for the rest of 2026. Davuluri says the work is happening across the memory manager, memory compression, and the frameworks that sit on top of Windows. “We do definitely have work when it comes to compressing memory and making sure we’re more efficient on the platform,” he said. Microsoft is trying to make Windows take memory only when a capability is actually being used. “You only take the memory cost as and when you use the capability. Otherwise, the base system gets a little bit more efficient across the board.” I’m glad Microsoft is reducing Windows 11's memory management, WinUI 3, WebView2, and Chromium efficiency, and hopefully, one day, Microsoft will also fix its own web-based apps...

Amazon delivery emails really becoming useless I ordered a pair of earbuds tips for my IEMs and Amazon labeled them a "Health Care" item. They are not for health care in any way. They're not ear plugs. They're replacement ear tips for music appreciation

“How can we make order shipment emails less helpful?” muses an Amazon PM to themself. “Maybe instead of the item we can give an overboard category?”

Studios should not be allowed to buy a movie review app. It’s a huge conflict of interest that will prey on the general public’s desires for superficial recognition as studios tend to reward positive pr seen with influencers.
Netflix, Paramount and Sony Pictures are all in talks to buy Letterboxd. (variety.com/2026/digital/new…)

Paying Journalists and Analysts to shut us up @PlayStation @Sony. We ain't falling for this propaganda crap. KEEP PUSHING EVERYONE.
One analyst suggested that even if half a million people cancelled their PlayStation Plus subscription in protest of Sony killing discs, it would be just a drop in the ocean for the company — which is not going to change its mind. bit.ly/4wRfo4P

This is full on boycott territory

Always remember that Sony doesn't give a fuck if they lose you as a customer. In their view, you don't matter. PlayStation prices their games at $80 and you don't even truly own it. NEVER EVER FORGET! #Playstation #Sony

The moment customer loyalty stops being a relationship to nurture and instead becomes a resource to exploit, that's when it's over.
