Until we see a big enough catalyst to push spring wheat out of this monthly range, it appears that selling the top of it will remain the best play. Need to flip 10.50, but will take a large bullish narrative to feed it.

Old crop Canola looking tired up here. Daily forming head and shoulders after an ascending wedge break. Monthly forming a large bear divergence. I feel there's not much gas left in the tank up here. Momentum looks to be waning.

Anybody hedging deferred canola positions into 2021 for 2020 crop yet?
Stats can canola stocks down to 18.6 million tonnes, lowest since 2015. Havent done numbers yet, but looks to workout to similar carryout as 2018.

NWS Grand Forks released a preliminary spring flood outlook based on conditions up to Feb 21st. Heavier snowpack this month has increased odds for significant flooding in RRV this spring. March precip however will be a major factor in overall flood threat. Next update: March 7
