I was just at that station last week. It is a heart-pounding thrilling rush when the shinkansen goes through. We traveled for five days on the @jrpass on bullet trains. Clean trains. Timely. Civilized. Quiet on the trains. Reliable. Love Japanese trains.

I am nearing the end of catmacinjapan 😢 This morning I waved goodbye to my Japanese grandparents & I am now maximising my JR pass, travelling by 🚄 from Kagoshima to Kyoto - about 4 hours. What a treat it was to visit the place I once called home 🇯🇵❤️ – at Kagoshima-shi, Kagoshima
