I was just at that station last week. It is a heart-pounding thrilling rush when the shinkansen goes through. We traveled for five days on the @jrpass on bullet trains. Clean trains. Timely. Civilized. Quiet on the trains. Reliable. Love Japanese trains.

My @JRPass 'es have arrived. It's starting to feel real!
The envelope was also unexpectedly wholesome.
ALT 2 Japan Rail passes displayed somewhat on top of eachother and the envelope they came in.
ALT A detail on the aforementioned envelope which says the Japan Rail company will be sad if you forget your passes at home. Which I find very wholesome.

Iโm not fond of the power lines and guard rails spoiling views. But it has reminded me that not everything is meant to be filmed. Do we ever look back at the fireworks we snap through our phones? Maybe itโs best to put the camera down and just selectively admire the moment.
