The Sparta High School girls lacrosse season has officially come to an end, and what an incredible season it was! First sectional title since 2018, a state championship appearance, HWS finals appearance, and ended the season as the #9 team in New Jersey. So proud of the girls!

🥍🗞️: Within the Sparta lacrosse community, Uma Kowalski has been a phenomenon since middle school.
On Friday, the 5-star & Notre Dame commit added to her legacy. She’s now the all-time points leader in Sussex County history.

Football...
Andrew Carbone is on the BOE agenda tonight in Wood-Ridge to be approved as new head football coach.
Carbone has been the DC at Sparta for the last three seasons.
As always, final approval has to come from BOE.

Proud to have completed the Philadelphia Marathon yesterday! Definitely the most grueling physical and mental workout I’ve ever done, but worth every second! I think my facial expression explains it all😅

#Giants are going to be 2-5 (0-3 in the NFC East). They should bench Daniel Jones and turn the page. Deactivate him for the rest of the season.
The Giants should be in evaluation mode going forward.
Start Drew Lock and make Tommy DeVito the QB2. It would make sense to play DeVito at some point this season considering he was their "developmental" QB. See if DeVito can develop into your QB2 in.. 2025?
Special moment for a special team! Proud of these girls for stepping up big to win their second straight HWS Championship against the #10 team in the state of New Jersey. @Sparta_GVball
Started today the way I’ve started every September 11th for the last 12 years since discovering this story. Never forget the amazing men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in a time of need. These hero’s will live on forever. #RedBandana
