I watched #Wildwood today. Movie of the year. Hands down.
This needs AT LEAST to be nominated for Best Picture. Not Best Animated Film. Best Picture.
And yes, Iโve seen Project Hail Mary, Spider-Man, Odyssey etc.
Wildwood is movie of the year. Period.

"We want GOOD original movies"
Wildwood is one of the best animated films of the decade
"There wasn't any marketing"
Had more views than doomsday
just admit that you guys are filled with excuses and only want to be performative when it comes to supporting original films

wildwood is one of those animated films that, like spiderverse or arcane or klaus before it, makes you walk out of it thinking that animation is one of the greatest mediums of art and storytelling ever achieved I genuinely cannot stop thinking about it

No. It really doesnโt matter what they release on the PS6 Iโm not buying a $1000 console to rent $80 games.
As it stands Sony is currently planning to exit the video game market on Jan 1st 2028 as far as Iโm concerned.

PlayStation thought the game was called physical and had to back out
As confirmed earlier through our official channels, in mid-June of this year, we unexpectedly received notice from PlayStation Studios that they would cancel the PHYSINT project. PHYSINT is an important project both to me personally and to KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS. Determined to keep the project alive, we have spent the last three months searching tirelessly for a new partner. In the course of seeking advice and pursuing negotiations with people across many fields, we found in XBOX a partner with whom we share a common vision for the future, and we have decided to team up with them once again. Please rest assured that development of PHYSINT, our genre-defining action-espionage title, is ongoing and will continue moving forward.

I'm 48 and over the course of my life my family and myself have owned about 12 different game consoles. Not once have I ever thought I have not owned a game, physical or digital, when I have purchased it. Especially when a tab says "BUY NOW".
Sony says "reasonable consumers" know they donโt own the digital PlayStation games they buy.
It argues that it's "not plausible" to suggest that when they buy a digital game they actually believe they're "obtaining ownership" of it.

This movie really reminded me of Roger Rabbit in the way that the toon characters are essentially treated as second class citizens, this movie feels like a spiritual successor to it in a few ways really lol.
