minnepolis public schools said that enrollment is down this year for english learners, likely due to the impact from operation metro surge. approximately 900 fewer students than at this point last year. st paul also reported a decline
in MPS, this loss of students translates to an estimated $12.9 million less revenue, so it is important you vote yes, and tell others about this ballot amendment
state sen mary kunesh explains the school lands trust amendment that minnesota voters will see on their ballot and urges us to vote yes to increase funding to our public schools by accessing a permanent school fund that has been in place 170 years. it will not raise taxes! schools will be able to get full access, a 4.5% return on investment compared to the current 2.5%

Blaming Fateh's event for Nazi's showing up is weird because Nazis have been showing up in Minneapolis for a while now. They are Nazis. They like intimidating people.

If you’ve spent more time complaining about Hasan Piker coming to Minneapolis than you have knocking doors for DFL candidates, then I don’t want to hear from you in these last 7 days before the election.
If you’re worried about getting Dems elected get off your ass this week.

This shit is straight up not Minnesotan and I’m not fucking with it.
Tbh, I was supposed to go to the DFL event this weekend but last minute, after finding out Hasan Piker flew out here originally just to stand with us and the DFL but THEY canceled on HIM, I decided to cancel too this time.
I heard they even called some other creators I know to see if they would come, they didn’t go but they did all want to go to the sold out Ilhan Omar / Hasan Piker event. Now DFL members are acting like Hasan’s “event” was a distraction when he wanted to come to theirs originally anyways…
As someone who works with the DFL on occasion and will continue to try (as I know Hasan will too) I shouldn’t be shocked. This is far from the first time they’ve been disappointing and the lack of excitement for the DFL event vs the sold out live stream shows how the public feels too. The DFL is falling behind.
In Minnesota we welcome our neighbors who come in peace, not turn them away and then blame them for Jake Lang doing what he’s has done to plenty of other protesters here in the past (yet we didn’t blame the protesters or the Mayor for him being here?). How does this happen every election year? We need to stand together.

Gonna go ahead and say the decision to forward all the funds people wanted to donate after the article to the awful person who wanted the bar to close was a bad choice
The Ethan/Tamara subreddit is currently cooking up the most deranged blunt rotation you could ever imagine...

hi everyone, i want to clarify some things about what i said on stream yesterday.
1) when he was first caught looking at paywalled, deepfake content of female streamers, it seems people forgot that the specific page shown on his stream was of me.
i didn't say much at the time because i was so uncomfortable, publicly humiliated, and i didn't think it needed explaining because it was so obviously wrong.
2) i appreciate that he spent thousands of dollars helping remove ai/df content (3000$ of which was offered to me specifically), but i've had to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars towards that same effort. regardless, no amount of money undoes what happened.
3) i'm not trying to cancel anyone or be the arbiter of who can do what. i'm simply sharing my feelings about something that publicly happened to me, and the ways in which it's affecting me today.
as he's become more involved in events and with people close to me, i've grown particularly uncomfortable. as far as i know, no one has really checked in with the women affected about how it makes them feel. other people forgiving him is their choice, but it doesn't mean i can't share my perspective on it as well.
one thing i've seen happen far too often is the rewriting of history, particularly as it pertains to issues like these, so i prefer to stand my ground so the narrative doesn't get twisted. hope this clarifies things!

To everyone celebrating Lula’s reelection victory, I just want us to all acknowledge Erika Hilton right here. She’s a Black trans woman who became the most voted congresswoman in Brazilian history this cycle and has been campaigning nonstop for Lula in the second round

Man, cops are such worthless pieces of shit. Every single one could vanish in an instant and nothing of value would be lost.
