I was grateful to be endorsed by the Post Bulletin Editorial Board this morning, following their previous endorsements of my opponent in 2022 and 2024. They see what folks across southern Minnesota are seeing: our congressman doesn't show up, but I do.

Last year, 27 Republican state legislators – including 7 from southern Minnesota – begged Brad Finstad not to make deep cuts to Medicaid. He voted for nearly $1 trillion in cuts anyway, gutting funding for our small towns and rural clinics.
Congressman Finstad was asked at our debate if he'd commit to holding in-person town hall meetings. He dodged the question.
That's an easy answer for me.
I'm honored to have retired Police Chief Tim Sletten supporting our campaign. After 30+ years as a law enforcement officer in Red Wing, Tim knows what leadership and public service should look like. As his letter notes, I'll work with anyone to solve problems.
I'm praying for the safety of the young men and women of the Minnesota National Guard being deployed to the Middle East this fall. We are all so grateful for your service and are praying for your safe return.
If you're going to choose a life of public service, you might actually want to meet with the public once in a while.

NEW POLL ALERT: Jake Johnson has officially taken the lead in the FiftyPlusOne polling average over Rep. Brad Finstad.
Jake is a highschool teacher who took the Political Integrity Pledge while Brad has received nearly half a million in corporate cash since 2024.
Rep. Finstad sits on the House Armed Services Committee while accepting max donations from some of the biggest defense contractors in the country.
