We are called to be salt and light no matter the present atmosphere we find ourselves in.
We are not of this world, yet we are called to be its salt and light. Just as Christ brought the light of eternal love into the darkness, we too are invited to shine with His grace.
Our imperfect world gives us the opportunity to rise above, to care for others, and to build God’s Kingdom here on earth. Let us not fear the challenges we face, for through them, we can become instruments of God’s love, bringing hope, peace, and joy to those around us. As we walk this path, may we always remember that we are not alone; God walks with us and guides us to be the light He desires us to be. Amen.

Today is Election Day.
Vote.
After you vote, give it to God.
Regardless of what happens today my hope will remain strong, because my hope isn’t in the outcome of elections.
My hope isn’t in government.
My hope isn’t in fallible people who happen to choose right.
My hope is in Jesus.
As Christians we are in this world but we are not of it.
We can’t control most of what we see.
Specific people in power won’t save us, humans without God will repeatedly indulge in sin and are corruptible.
That’s why Jesus and the power of what He did for us on the cross is the answer to every single problem we face.
It is finished.
God is already ahead of us in time.
He saw it.
He wrote it.
It’s done.
This ends well for those that have accepted what Jesus has done for us.
It’s a free gift and available to all.
Everything God said He will do in His word -He will do.
We are literally watching a lot of what He said unfold right now.
Specific countries aligning, apostasy, the hate for Israel, the advancement of technology setting up for a global system and more.
It’s all there.
God has to fulfill His word or He isn’t God.
The reassurance of that is what provides hope, peace, joy, and an increase of faith.
Live life, make plans, enjoy every moment, share the gospel, take dominion, VOTE, and occupy till He comes.
And let His Kingdom come. ✝️🙏
🚨Election Day: Go Vote‼️ God still expects us to utilize our talents (votes) to discern the highest good for everyone involved by casting our votes, rather than succumbing to cowardice and burying our talents (votes) in hopelessness, as demonstrated by the person in the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30) who feared not making a difference with his single talent.
No matter today’s mid-term election outcomes, God still sits on the throne and has authority over all nations. We have nothing to fear for we are in Christ and he dwells within us. We offer our gratitude for all we “freely receive” from our almighty God. Thank you for nailing our sins to the cross so we can live freely to love, serve, and adore you today and for eternity. Lord, with our votes, help us to have a share in making our nation a royal priesthood, a holy nation under God (1 Peter 2:9)!

“The saints suffered. Therese had tuberculosis. Teresa of Avila had cancer of the stomach. Padre Pio had perpetual diarrhea and asthma. Bernadette had asthma too. Mother Cabrini had high fever to malaria she contracted during her travels. Holiness is not for wimps and the cross is not negotiable, sweetheart, it’s a requirement”.

It’s heartbreaking to think about all the souls in purgatory who no one is praying for anymore. I want to make more of an intentional effort to help these poor souls and spread devotion. Will you do it also?
Here are 22 ways to offer then relief & aid them in their purgation:
Ask others to pray for those in purgatory.
Burn blessed candles for them.
Pray at gravesites.
Ask priests for a blessing for the souls in purgatory.
Send them your guardian angels.
Short prayers to God for them throughout the day.
Specific reparatory acts for them.
Ask God to send you sufferings for them.
Fast for them.
Implore the Saints for them.
Consecrate to Mary specifically for them.
Offer small daily sacrifices for them.
Pray Novenas for them.
Adore the Blessed Sacrament for them.
Pray the chaplet of St. Gertrude the Great.
Pray the chaplet of Divine Mercy for them.
Pray the Rosary for them.
Obtain indulgences for them.
Do acts of charity offered on their behalf.
Do the Stations of the Cross for them.
Have Masses offered for them.
Attend Masses and offer up your intentions for them.

The Solemnity of All Saints, which we celebrate today, invites us to share in the joy of that countless family of men and women who, following the Lord Jesus, have made their lives a gift to God and to their neighbors.
.@BishopBarron’s commentary about today’s Mass readings on the Feast of All Saints Day is beautiful, thought-provoking, and highlights the true meaning, purpose, and goal of Christianity — to become saints.

Today, we give thanks to God for our retired priests who have dedicated their lives to serving Christ and His Church. I am especially grateful to this year’s honorees, Fr. Ulysses D’Aquila and Fr. Larry Goode, for their many years of faithful priestly service.
May God bless our retired priests for the countless ways they have cared for His people.

“If it’s not explicitly written in the Bible, you shouldn’t believe it.”
But where does the Bible explicitly say that?
In fact, Paul commands Christians to hold fast to apostolic traditions received BOTH orally and in writing.
2 Thessalonians 2:15:
“Stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter.”
John 21:25 even acknowledges that Jesus did many things that were never recorded in Scripture.
The biblical authors never teach that every doctrine must be explicitly spelled out in Scripture to be believed.
The early Christians received the faith through the teaching of the Apostles, both written and spoken.
The question isn’t whether a teaching appears as an exact sentence in the Bible. The question is whether it belongs to the deposit of faith Christ entrusted to His Church.
You cannot use Scripture to establish a rule that Scripture itself never establishes.
Catholics are required to attend Mass every Sunday and on specific holy days of obligation. In 2026, one of those days also falls on a Sunday, and itʼs happening this weekend. On Nov. 1, the solemnity of All Saints will replace the 31st Sunday of Ordinary Time.
On Saturday, Oct. 31, and on Sunday, Nov. 1, Evening Prayer 1 of the Liturgy of the Hours is for All Saints and the vigil Mass on Saturday will observe the Mass of All Saints.
Solemnities rank above feasts and memorials and are the highest liturgical celebrations in the Catholic Church. They honor significant mysteries of the Christian faith, including events in the lives of Jesus and Mary, as well as key saints.
The solemnity of All Saints celebrates all Christian saints — those formally canonized by the Church and those who are not but have attained heaven. It is typically a holy day of obligation.
The observance of the solemnity begins with evening prayer (first vespers) the evening before on Oct. 31 — known as All Hallows’ Eve or Halloween — and is followed on Nov. 2 by All Souls' Day, a day in which the entire Church prays for all of the dead.
Sometimes a solemnity that falls on a Sunday will be moved to a Monday.
For example, in 2024, the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception on Dec. 8 fell on a Sunday in Advent so the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) transferred the solemnity to the Monday.
The Vatican has clarified that Catholics in the United States must still attend Mass on holy days of obligation even when they are transferred to Mondays or Saturdays, correcting a long-standing practice in the U.S. Church.

You are a very beautiful woman. May you always be blessed, loved and happy as you deserve. And may you find the peace that surpasses all understanding.
I’ve gained almost 26K followers overnight on X. The outpouring of love and support has been overwhelming in the best way possible 🫶 WOW.
I want to show the world how insidious gender ideology is, save kids from this madness, and educate people about the permanent consequences of medical transition.
I am what’s known as a detransitioner. I spent 7 years identifying as a man and medically transitioning. In June 2025, I announced that I would be detransitioning back to my actual female sex.
My life has never been the same since walking away from trans. Look at how profoundly unhappy I look as a “trans man.” That’s not me. That’s me hiding from myself.
Embracing womanhood and biological reality has cost me everything. I’d do it all over again. There’s nothing worth more than truth, reality, and embracing who God made you 🙏

We read all of 1 Peter in our men’s group last night.
“Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is right? But even if you do suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, but in your hearts reverence Christ as Lord…For it is better to suffer for doing right, if that should be God's will, than for doing wrong.”
1 Peter 3:13-15, 17
