Angel & Naz *lit up* when asked about Isobel Borlase. Both with glowing reviews about how she's grown defensively in particular.

With five steals tonight, Rhyne Howard is the first player in WNBA Finals history to record 5+ steals in consecutive games!

Nickeil Alexander-Walker (31 PTS), Jalen Johnson (20 PTS) and Dyson Daniels (20 PTS) became the first Hawks trio to have two 20+ point scorers and one 30+ point scorer in a season-opening game since 11/5/93 vs. Indiana (Dominique Wilkins-33, Kevin Willis-25, Stacey Augmon-22).
This team is exactly what you should want in a favorite team. Passion, excellence, and never gonna give you a breath defensive attitude. Never ending effort up and down the roster, starting with Angel and Rhyne.

FINAL: Dream 97, Valkyries 71
The Dream move up 2-1 in the best-of-7 series, with Game 4 set for Saturday afternoon.
Just a dominant 2nd half from the Dream, who held the Valkyries to 31 points in the 2H. Dream gave up a total of 11 field goals in the half.

Players in WNBA history with 5+ steals in consecutive Finals games:
Rhyne Howard
End of list.
Valks got it to 15 - great timeout - and the Dream attacked the paint on back to back possessions then the easy transition bucket and back to over 20. Great basketball.

this is a preposterous review, which is fitting for a 7 pm game that is still ongoing at 9:51 pm

the valks have one legitimate advantage creator on the roster and she’s also their oldest player. that will not fly vs this tenacious ATL defense
rhyne, angel, hilmon, gray and honestly every dream are defending out of their minds
And why Quin should not overreact to early fouls with him, he has three fouls total.
I said this morning on @HawksDebrief that a NAW 30-bomb was coming tonight
He has 31 after (potentially) the game-sealing triple

If every game is officiated like this, there will be a lot of 3-hour games this season.

I asked Snyder pregame about how they planned to ramp guys up to "normal" minutes after the preseason.
Got pretty much a non-answer, but it looks like none of the starters is will be playing FULL regular season minutes aside from maybe Daniels.
(some of that is foul-related)
